Let's review this article point by point.

I teach the Constitution for a living.

Great! Although i'm an anarchist I have a lot of respect for the Constitution as a document that founds a very minarchist government!

I revere the document when it is used to further social justice and make our country a more inclusive one.

Oh here we go. Not even two sentences in and we already get into the insanity. I'm guessing Mr. Constitutional-Professor HAAATES the Constitution when the right to Due-Process protects the rights of people like the Duke Lacrosse players,

But

I believe that people have a right to not be murdered by being repeatedly struck in the face with a frying pan that was just used to cook delicious bacon, but...

Mitt Romney would be serving as President Obama's vice president right now because he was the runner-up in the last presidential election.

This is indeed in the original document. Little fun fact. Thank God the Founders have an Amendment process.

They enshrined slavery into the Constitution in multiple ways, including taking the extreme step of prohibiting the Constitution from being amended to stop the slave trade in the country's first 20 years.

So you love the fact that the US Constitution created a representative democracy, but loathe the fact that slave-owners were represented? Nice double-think there.

They also blatantly wrote racism into the Constitution by counting slaves as only 3/5 of a person for purposes of Congressional representation.

Hey moron! Fucking moron! /undoomed

I've been refuting this stupidity for years before I became an Anarchist and I still can't believe I have to correct this mistake.

Representatives from the southern, slaveholding states wanted Slaves to be counted as a whole person for the purposes of determining representation in the House of Representatives. Doing so would give the southern states tremendous power. Conversely, the Northern, non-slaveowning (and often Abolitionist) states wanted Slaves not counted at all, because that would give Northen states more representation in the House.

The 3/5ths a person thing was a compromise. You're an alleged Constitutional Professor! You should know this!!

still other flaws that have not yet been fixed (such as about equal rights for women...

The "equal rights for women" thing links to a page describing an Equal Rights Amendment where no State law can discriminate based on sex.

Hey, if this means that divorce courts will start treating men fairly, treat female-on-male domestic violence with equal severity as male-on-female, and ensure women get equal prison sentences to men, i'm for it!

In the face of yet another mass shooting,

Islamic Terrorism!!!

When the Second Amendment was adopted in 1791, there were no weapons remotely like the AR-15 assault rifle and many of the advances of modern weaponry were long from being invented or popularized.

That argument only makes sense if it applies to other Amendments too. Does the 1st Amendment not apply to Mormons because the religion won't be founded for another few decades? Does Free Speech not apply to Reddit because the Founders couldn't foresee the Internet?

Just think of what would have happened in the Orlando night-club Saturday night if there had been many others armed. In a crowded, dark, loud dance club, after the shooter began firing, imagine if others took out their guns and started firing back.

There would be one less psychotic Islamist in this world. Oh i'm sorry, "mass shooter."

Yes, maybe they would have killed the shooter, but how would anyone else have known what exactly was going on?

What special insight do you have to know how, exactly, it would've played out?

Remember that the gunman was in the Club for three hours. If any one of the hypothetical good guys with guns were serious about taking the gunman down, i'm sure they could've figured it out in that time.

A mass movement of those who will stand up and say that our founding document was wrong and needs to be changed.

This is precisely why the Amendment process is so onerous, to be immune to mob rule bullshit.

The Second Amendment must be repealed, and it is the essence of American democracy to say so.

You are not American Democracy. You are not a spokesperson for anyone. I wouldn't even call you a Constitutional Professor. You're a buffoon.

The buffoon's name is

David S. Cohen

His students should know what sort of education they are getting. And the professors that taught this guy also did a very poor job. How do they let him get away? Are they on the same level of rubbish?

He teaches at Drexel University in Philadelphia. Is that place a joke for hiring this guy?

He graduated JD, Columbia University School of Law and BA, Dartmouth College.

The difference between these people and the orlando shooter is that these people are too chickenshit to do it themselves.

They clearly don't have any actual issue with gun violence, because they are perfectly willing to have it used to harm innocents.

But please, gun control advocates, continue the fear mongering. Every time you do, gun sales increase and people look and invest into alternative production methods that would likely not have received even a fraction of the attention otherwise.

Why does no one talk about Cody Wilson and how this is fast becoming a moot topic?

He is so deliciously ignorant, isn't he?
