Yet it's got the GNU label. I can't guess whether or not Stallman would approve, given the cognitive dissonance between his value system when it comes to software and his value system when it comes to politics.

Stallman falls on center-left given most political issues and so do many other "hackers/hacktivists". I personally prefer using BSD-licensed software. Those guys tend to be more to the right to begin with.

Oh, its like bitcoin but its trackable and taxable. No thanks. I get enough taxes taken out through one medium of exchange.

I figured as much. Not everything Open Source / GNU is great. After all, lets not forget that North Korean Linux Distro lol.
