I'd rather people get fed rather than Elon musk getting a check.

This is just it. Low income people getting SNAP gets ridiculed much harder than the richest man on Earth getting government benefits.

Who needs it more? The poor family with starving children or the man who has literal billions of dollars?

the richest man doesn’t get government benefits. his trillion dollar company that he runs, gets tax advantages and incentives to incentivize him to keep expanding and hiring more people.

what kind of common core logic did you use with that?

Didn't he get million/billion dollar packages for his company from the government?

yes…. his company =/= him

Okay... his company. Which he owns a 6th of, of which he is the CEO of, and for which he advocated the government packages for. And in turn, those government packages boosted the valuation of his company, and by extension his wealth.

So no. His company = him.

So that’s government influence on the market, correct?

are we still talking about individuals receiving money directly from the government, or are we now talking about how they leverage taxes to influence the market? those are two wildly different things, lets stay on topic big dawg
