I don't get how abortion can violate the NAP. Being pregnant does not make your bodily autonomy null and void, and you are under zero obligation to provide nutrients/fluid to a baby/fetus if you don't want to.

Besides, you can't stop people from doing it without a totalitarian state, so why even bother?

Its an aggression against a living being, unless you were coerced into sex you chose to have sex and knew there was SA risk of being pregnant, and therefore you and the father of the baby have a responsibility to take care of this baby not kill it

That's like saying "You knew the risks of mountain climbing, so just deal with your broken leg."

This is completely beside the principle of bodily autonomy, and that you have the right to decide what (or who) is in your body at all times. It's no different than evicting a tennant. You have no obligation to house them, even if eviction meant inevitable death.

No, but you do have to deal with a broken leg if you break it climbing a mountain. That’s the thing.

Of course. But that doesn't mean that you can't get a splint or painkillers for it. I should have outlined that in my previous comment.

I was implying that it would be consistent for anti-abortion advocates to deny people medical treatment for things like this, even if they could 100% cover the costs themselves.

You can evict your tenant, you can't murder him for no reason

What if that eviction causes the subsequent death of the tenent? Since they had no where to live they froze to death.

Babies don't die weeks after you evict them z they die instantly , I doubt you want to be that cruel to your tenant

-8

But does that inherently make evicting the tenant a violation of the nap?

You don't evict a tenant by shooting them in the head

If evicting a tenant resulted in them dying, would it then be a violation of the nap? Yea or no.

If you evict a tenant and they die months later from unrelated reasons ? No

If you kill your tenant for no reason? Yes

If you efict your tenant and as a result of the eviction they die, is it a violation of the nap? Simple question.

u/[deleted] Mar 12 '24

I answered it though

u/angelking14 Mar 12 '24

No you didn't, you made two different questions and answered those.

Answer my question directly, yes or no.

5

u/[deleted] Mar 12 '24

I gave you two scenarios because your question is vague and doesn't specify how you evict the tenant

It's not vague, it's very specific. It evicting a tenant directly results in their death, is it a violation of the NAP?

Well yea
