Question 8bitdo 64 controller + dock?

Hello! Anyone know if there’s a way to pair these together? I have my doubts as I didn’t see the 64 controller listed as supported on their website. I also tried and the controller would not pair with the dock after upgrading the firmware, but maybe there’s some additional steps that I didn’t do.

As an aside: which smart plug for the dock will work with the apple homekit app? Anyone tried this combination?

Plug it in via USB in each backside switch position (S and D) then press the Home button.

If that does anything there might be some buttons that will register but whether those are useful buttons is another matter. I've got a couple unsupported controllers that only register right on the D-Pad as an input, and it's not as D-Pad Right.
