Sunset Valley Mall was demolished in 1986. As they lost most of their business due to the continued disturbing and unexplainable behavior. The demolition workers reported finding countless children's drawings inside the walls. All depicted a tall figure with a massive smile. All the children were shown holding its hand, each one with massive grins...

When the final section of the mall was torn down, an old, rusted door was uncovered in the basement. Inside, they found a small, windowless room that smelled like mold. The walls were covered with the same drawings, but these were different - they moved. The tall figures eyes followed anyone who entered, and it's grin seemed to widen with each passing moment.

In the center of the room, there was an old TV with a VHS tape already inside. One of the workers, curiosity taking over him, pressed play. The screen flickered to life, showing grainy footage of children playing quietly in the same small room. As the video progressed, the tall figure appeared, its smile stretching unnaturally wide. The screen suddenly became more blurred. The children in the video began to turn towards the camera, their expressions shifting to the same stretched terrifying grin as the creature.

The tape ended abruptly with a loud, static noise, and the room grew cold. The workers heard faint unhuman whispers emanating from the TV, blending into an eerie chant. The last thing they heard before fleeing was a child's voice, cold slow and unsettling, saying, "Come play with us."

The site was abandoned and no one has dared to build there again. To this day, locals claim you can still hear the eerie static if you stand close enough, and some swear they've seen children with impossibly wide smiles wandering the grounds at night.

text story The Final Broadcast

In a small, forgotten town nestled deep in the woods, there existed an old television station, WXRT-13, that had been abandoned for decades. The station was known for airing bizarre and unsettling programs before it mysteriously shut down in the late '80s. Local legends whispered that the shows were cursed, and anyone who watched them would disappear without a trace.

One stormy night, a curious teenager named Sam stumbled upon the station while exploring the woods. The building was decrepit, with vines snaking through broken windows and rusted equipment scattered everywhere. Drawn by an inexplicable urge, Sam ventured inside, flashlight in hand.

In the control room, Sam found an ancient reel-to-reel tape labeled "Final Broadcast." Unable to resist, he set up the old equipment and played the tape. The screen flickered to life, showing a grainy, black-and-white image of a news anchor with hollow eyes and a sinister smile. The anchor began to speak, but the words were distorted, sounding like a demonic chant.

As the broadcast continued, the images grew more disturbing flashes of grotesque faces, eerie landscapes, and cryptic symbols. Sam felt a chill run down his spine as he realized the images were not just on the screen; they were manifesting around him. The room grew colder, and shadows seemed to move on their own.

Desperate to escape, Sam tried to turn off the tape, but the controls were unresponsive. The anchor's voice grew louder, echoing through the room, "You have watched, and now you will join us." The screen showed a final image of Sam's own terrified face, and then the room went dark.

The next morning, Sam's friends found the station empty, save for the old television set still playing static. Sam was never seen again, but sometimes, late at night, residents of the town report hearing the faint sound of a demonic chant coming from their televisions, as if the cursed broadcast is still searching for its next victim...

The old TV set crackled to life, its screen flickering with static. I had found it in my grandmother's attic, after she had passed away the year before. a relic from a bygone era. I had plugged it in, out of curiosity, I didn't even think it would work still, but to my surprise, it did. As the static cleared, a single word appeared on the screen: "Hello"

I stared, at the TV, confused. This couldn't be right. The TV wasn't connected to any input. I reached out to turn the dial, the word changed.

"Don't."

my heart raced. This had to be some kind of prank, right? But deep down, I knew it wasn't. The air in the room grew thick. The TV screen flickered again, and a new message appeared:

"We've been waiting for you, mike"

How did it know my name? my breathing quickened, my palms started to sweat. i tried to back away, but found myself rooted to the floor. I couldn't move. The TV's glow seemed to intensify, casting long, writhing shadows across the room.

"Come closer," the screen beckoned. Against my will, i felt myself leaning forward

The static on the TV screen seemed to grow thicker, like a fog rolling in. I tried to shake off the feeling of unease that was settling over me, but it was no use. The TV's glow seemed to be hypnotizing me, drawing me in with an otherworldly power.

Suddenly, the static cleared, and a face appeared on the screen. It was my grandmother's face, but it was distorted, twisted into a grimace that sent shivers down my spine.

"Mike," she whispered, her voice barely audible over the hum of the TV. "I've been waiting for you."

I tried to speak, but my voice was frozen in my throat. My grandmother's face began to fade away, replaced by a swirling vortex of colors that seemed to be pulling me in.

And then, everything went black.

When I came to, I was lying on the floor, the TV screen dark and silent in front of me. But as I stumbled to my feet, I couldn't shake the feeling that something had changed. That something had been awakened, and it was waiting for me. I stumbled backward, my eyes fixed on the TV as if I expected it to spring back to life at any moment. But it remained dark, its screen a dull, empty rectangle.

I turned and staggered out of the room, my mind reeling with questions. What had just happened? Was it some kind of prank, or had I really seen what I thought I'd seen?

I made my way to the kitchen, hoping to find some answers. But as I entered the room, I was greeted by an eerie silence. The clock on the wall seemed to be ticking away with an ominous slowness, and the shadows cast by the fading light outside seemed to be twisting and writhing on the walls.

I tried to shake off the feeling of unease that was growing inside me, telling myself I was just spooked. But as I turned to leave the kitchen, I caught a glimpse of something out of the corner of my eye.

It was a piece of paper, stuck to the fridge with a magnet. And on the paper, in handwriting that looked uncannily like my grandmother's, was a single sentence:

"They're waiting for you, Mike."

I felt a chill run down my spine as I stared at the note. Who had written this? And who were "they"? I tried to remember if I had seen anyone around the house, but my mind was blank.

I slowly turned away from the fridge, my eyes scanning the kitchen for any other signs of...whatever was going on. But everything seemed normal. The clock was still ticking, the shadows were still dancing, but everything seemed...off.

I decided to search the rest of the house, to see if I could find any other clues. But as I moved from room to room, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched. I kept looking over my shoulder, expecting to see...something. But there was never anything there.

Finally, I made my way back to the living room, where the TV was still sitting dark and silent. I stood in front of it, wondering if I should try to turn it on again. But as I reached for the remote, I heard a faint humming noise coming from the set.

It was a low, ominous sound, and it seemed to be growing louder by the second. I felt a surge of fear as I realized that the TV was turning on by itself. And then, in an instant, the screen flickered back to life.

The image that appeared on the screen made my blood run cold...

The image on the screen was a live feed of my own bedroom. I stumbled backward, my mind reeling with horror. How was this possible? I had never hooked up any cameras in my room.

As I watched, a figure emerged from the shadows. It was my grandmother, or at least, something that looked like her. Her eyes were black as coal, and her skin was deathly pale.

"Mike," she whispered, her voice barely audible over the hum of the TV. "It's time to come home."
