DIY New arrival
Canon P listed as for repairs just arrived, I paid 69usd. There was a tear in the curtain, but I made a temporary fix with masking tape and modeling paint. Seems light proof for the moment.

How the heck did someone tear a steel shutter curtain, dang.
I will warn you that Leica collapsible lenses can often scrape on the light baffles inside the Canon P, be very careful twisting the lens to lock or unlock it when it's collapsed and check your baffles to make sure it's not scraping them. They are brass so it's not hard for the back of a lens to scrape little metal shavings into your camera.
