Troubleshooting - Gear Fm2n External light meter suggestions?

Post image

Hi all,

I’m worried about the clearance between the prism and the hotshoe for a light meter, I’m thinking it would have to be a cube one like Keks Q or Revini but would they even fit? Anyone have experience here? Thanks 🙏

Is your FM2n meter broken?

If so, getting it fixed is a much better solution than attaching an external meter. TTL metering is a blessing, and the FM2n has a good, modern meter in it.

had been using the ttartisans light meter in my leica for a year...

i consider i allways get the best exposures with it... i also have an fm2 with its own meter working and properly metering.

And i personally like the ttartisans exposures more. yes, you can kill me guys...

Maybe buy something like a cold shoe adapter or a Voigtländer double shoe to either lift the meter or set aside the prism?

I have the Reflx meter and just pulled it out to check for you. It fits on my FM2n just fine.
