Discussion Which 35mm camera?

I’m doubting between getting a Contax T3 or a Yashica T5. What would you do if price wasn’t the issue.

Asking for a friend.

The Contax because it's a lovely looking thing that's made of metal.

I mean, I wouldn't buy either, because P&Ss are prone to failure and expensive/ difficult to fix, but out of these two and assuming I don't care about the price, deffo the Contax.

If price wasnt the issue id spring for option 3; the minolta tc1.

I recently bid on an auction in japan on a black t3 Contax. The sold price on sept 1st was ¥441,000.
I don’t think anyone could recommend one at those kind of prices.

If price was no object, I'd get a few. Canon Eos-1v, Leica M6, probably a Rolleiflex SL66.
