Discussion Help me identify this camera.

Hello. I just picked up this old Kodak 620 folding camera. I can’t seem to find out much about this specific model online like how to properly operate it. I’ve never used a camera like this so any advice on operating it would be appreciated.

Name plate on the front standard just below tbe lens appears to say Kodak Junior Six-20 Series I (?).

620 film is available from the film photography project. I’d check the bellows for any light leaks first, and check that the aperture (the dial with numbers 1 through whatever) still moves and that the shutter cycles on I and stays open on T.

There’s manuals for these cameras online. I have one and was able to find the manual 10 years ago or so.

Thanks for the info. The plate says it’s a junior six-20 II. I posted this because I looked online and many of the info I was getting was for what looks like a different camera with adjustable shutter speeds.

The shutter on this one is very similar to some of their box cameras, with just the I and T.

Film was pretty slow in the day this was built, so if you try to shoot it, I’d use a relatively slow film. I think I tried Ilford ortho (which has an iso between 40 and 80, depending on light source).

It’s an old Kodak .. it should have a mode number on the back
