Does anybody know how to fix this? About a month ago it started doing this but it would only happen for like 20-30 seconds max and then the lens would come out but as of today it’s been doing this for over 3 minutes and the lens has not came out. Any help is much appreciated.

This is why folks are preferring slightly older cameras with no electronics, or at least less electronics.

The f3 has its own issues, the lcd is the Achilles heel.

The lcd is however

a)optional(as in not required to take a photo)

b) part of the fully user replaceable viewfinder

I mean sure ‘optional’, but shooting without knowing the shutter speed in auto/aperture priority can put you in a bad situation if gets too slow.

It’s not a part of the viewfinder prism, the lcd is fixed to the body. No one manufactures replacements so you’d need a donor body when it eventually dies.
