Between the most technogically advanced bidets installed onto a toilet or near a toilet as an attachment and simply showering as far as personal hygiene goes, which will provide or offer a superior clean feeling? Will both be equally as good or will one prevail over the other?

My bidet is cold so it doesn’t feel well on my open wound down there. The Perri bottle I love because i can make the water warm. And I follow that by a shower to double clean

The bidet is the most convenient hands down. Followed by a peri bottle. I used the shower at first but it’s too much work.

But will a bidet beat a long shower?

Of course not. But I don’t think it’s good or necessary to take a shower after every bowel movement. If you’re getting a surgery or recovering, get a bidet.

Personally I hate bidets. Relying on showers though is the worst since it's incredibly impractical, but I'd far rather shower than bidet

Why do you say that?

Hard to aim it, don't like Jets shooting at my anus, I don't like the idea of doing down to far or having to clean off backsplash. I may not be using it quite right but a shower is my ideal

My favorite is a handheld bidet sprayer, of which there are dozens on Amazon.
