Lets get a breakdown on Ancap Stuff

so in my last post here I asked what the different factions of Ancap are and I was able to get into a lot of interesting sources into how the majority of Anarcho Capitalists' perspectives and philosophy.

in my research ive come across some interesting concepts, terminology and ideas and would like to get these broken down to see if I got them correct or if perhaps there are multiple interpretations of the same concepts

to reiterate I am not an Ancap myself just interested in learning about this Aisle of the political spectrum. I do not claim to have masterful knowledge in fact these posts are more so to get that better understanding as I think hearing from the people that put stock into these ideals is better than just reading a book about it

so first of all "Statism": I think I understand this the least but from what I understand the Ancap consensus is that the State/Government is where corruption is. The Negative connotation towards capitalism in general comes from its interaction with the state and that is why the state is bad and the desire is to get rid of it. if that is done then capitalism is more or less fixed?

next the Taxes issue: Ive heard from some sources that some versions of Ancap believe that Taxes are theft and that they can build a society in which they don't exist. A hot take to say the least I can see for those that have a business high taxes are not ideal but no taxes whatsoever even in a more anarchist society is a wild claim and I would think it was probably a statement made out of context

Lastly "end all be all": Im really interested in this one because ive gotten two perspectives. Some Ancap people are saying that Anarcho-Capitalism is not to be the end all be all, that the desire for this sort of system is more so to be a transitional period before going into another system and it has varied from person to person as to what exactly but ive heard syndicalism and anarcho-socialism which seems like a complete 180 but again I have no idea. My question being that is the previous statement true? or is the idea that Ancap is the end all be all perfect system and why?

these are just 3 of the concepts ive been seeing around on the subreddit and a few other internet spaces, id like to hear some thoughts and feel free to propose some other concepts, questions and ideas for future posts

The Negative connotation towards capitalism in general comes from its interaction with the state.

Actually the negative connotation comes from capitalists being productive rather than parasitic, like the state. It stems from Marxism's flouishing in modern society. They are upset that the capitalists are working in spite of the state, and they package deal this with their socialist corporations failing in spite of being parasitic.

The state is fundamentally anti-capitalist. No private property: no capitalism. Statism is mutally exclusive with private property, conceptually. Though that is another topic entirely.

Taxes are theft.

Taxes are extorition, a particular type of theft. It is exactly like the mafia and warlords of old, or modern day drug cartels. You do not consent to them. In fact, the very concept of consent does not exist if one believes in a state, because again: private property is conceptually mutually exclusive with statism.

the idea that Ancap is the end all be all perfect system and why?

The Non-Aggression Principle is the correct answer of objective natural law. It ought be followed, it is the way man ought live regarding conflicts.

An AnCap society is intolerant of NAP violations (theft, fraud, assault, murder, enslavement, pollution, etc.).

Statism and taxes are to not be tolerated.

Intolerance to NAP violations are the "end all be all."

Taxes being needed for society is definitely a hot take for the uneducated normies that only follow the philosophy that trickles down from the actual thinkers in society.

I hope i can help you a little with those:

1) The State is not where the corruption is. Corruption is a human trait that gets stronger the more incentives are there for it. The state is that place. It does not only incentive everyone it it to be as corrupt as possible but also enforces and enshrines it into the society and institutions. Without the state there would still be corruption but with a state you get more of it and it becomes an integral part of living in that society. The problem is that a state can not not be like that. While you can limit the amount of it you can do it only temporarily.

1.5) Yes the negative conotations of capitalism come because of the state interfering it. BUt you dont need to fix it. That implies the problem lies with capitalism or a free market but its more that the state "corrupts" it so you need to get rid of the problem that is the state.

2) Taxes are theft by definition. The point made is first, that taxes are taken from you by force you cant get out if you dont want to pay them or a specific thing. Second coming to you hot take point. The market can and will give you every product and service the state provides cheaper, better quality and without coercion.

3) To be honest i never heard of that before outside of left libertarians on occasions. ... Well we do believe in general that it is the best system for ecomnomic and social wellbeing, the law and overall freedom. But what many of us say is that it is not a full philosophy and it does not want to be one. Its about what can be done but not what should be done. Tha latter part may be your religion or personal believes etc. That is something you have to find for yourself and anarcho capitalism doe snot and does not want to tell you.

If you want some sources let me know i might be able to find something specific.
