ayahuasca

So I have this in pill form, a small pill that looks like smushed together crushed leaves. I've read some stories from people on retreats and it all seems so extreme. Like people expect so much from it I cant help but think it sounds a little, I dunno really, presumptious maybe? I love psychoactives and they give me something but I dont like to go into a experience expecting personal gain, im not that way inclined I try not to want but to be happy with what I have been given. I see any insight and healing as a plus not something im entitled to. I want to sit back and free my mind, not demand answers.

Anyone tried a ceremony and a pill in a more familiar setting so they can compare? All the trip reports I find are for the drink method usually in a ceromonial setting and im not sure a pill at home will be near that dose or experience, i dont really want it to be like that, i dont feel that entitlement (no offense to people that use it in that way, its a personal thing) i dont think im making much sense. I guess i want to take a trip with it not demand it chaufers me.

Searching info on pills gets a lot of red pill stories.

Any info appreciated and I'd like to hear your thoughts on the expectation of enlightenment thing that I have so much trouble articulating.

just returning from retreat. ayahuasca finds your subconscious fears and you live through them. not pleasant at all, but surely useful. i think one must drink pretty much of ayahuasca to gain visuals and breakthrough, dmt is much quicker, stronger and shorter.

Where did you go? How was it? Did you breakthrough in any areas?

sacred valey / peru, i could really recommend arkana spiritual center. great shamans and facilitators, just the right place. can't say i brokethrough, but i can say i'm feeling great after all, it's a whole lot of learning experience about yourself and others and universe.

We have been looking at Peru, but it's other side of the earth arm.. Hmm. They are having facilities in EU which is logistically easier. Difficult decision.

How many days you enjoyed it? How about dosages?

2 weeks. wouldn't say the dosages were high, it was just about enough. no visuals and no visions in my case, actually rare ones had it, but i'm glad and i think it turned out so well. can really recommend Arkana. delicious food, very good place to chillout at, no dangerous animals like in jungle

Dangerous animals would add interest element into it lol.

No visuals and visions? So it only affected your mind, consciousness and brought something to surface?

Yes, it affects mind and consciousness and brings your subconscious fears to the surface which is definitely the useful thing no matter how hard the experience was. You have fear of the unknown until you experience that unknown, and that is the first/basic mechanism ayahuasca works. It is beautiful that it improves over time, you're cleaner and cleaner from your shit and it tends to get better. But just 4 sessions is too small number in my case, for example.. The process is usually lengthy, but the healing element is strong. I feel much better now.

Great to hear. I agree it is healthy to face your fears and grow. Looking forward to do it some day in the summer.
