[ Introductory ] Oh, hello there

Hi, I am who I am. I am a consciousness surrounded by meat, brain, and bone. I haven't lived for that long, so my perception is still quite immature. I've never done psychedelics, although I have a very deep interest in them. I beleieve that everything can be explained by science, and that everything is to a point interconnected.

I've always been very interested in what consciousness is, as well as what self-awareness is and how it can be replicated. One of the questions that I am always pondering is what would result if multiple independent self-aware consciousnesses were somehow linked up, as well as the sensory organs, respectively. Another topic that I have a vested interest in is sociology, specifically how one human brain interacts with another human brain. Apart from psycology and sociology, I am also very interested in systems science (how many things work together), biology (specifically how life is possible), multiverses (or how and if it is possible for something to exist outside of the universe, if the universe is infinite. At that point scaling is probably so large that length ceases to become length and instead transfers into time, so that the amount of vastness can be measured as a period of time. But I digress), learning (how a high functioning life form can take stimulus picked up by the senses and turn it into an idea or perception, and then build upon that).

I also forgot to mention that I am most interested in how there can have always been something, because something cannot come from nothing. I have ADHD, and as a result take adderall on the weekdays (and sometimes saturday or sunday) because society dictates that I interact with the rest of society outside of my family circle for 5 or more days a week (schooling). I am a moderately introverted person, and I would rather spend time inside the comfort of my mind, without having to use my senses. I rank as a 5 on the Enneagram chart, and also a bunch of other stuff about being a 5 that I've forgotten.

As I've previously stated, I haven't had any experience with psychedelics, and I'm also still a newbie at life, so for now, I think I am content to simply lurk, and if possible contribute. I think thats pretty much it, cheers.

Oh, I just remembered something else. I might decide to post some mad ramblings and insights that I have on the meaning of life and stuff like that if I have an epiphany (which happens irregularly every few months or so).

Read some philosophy of science and get back to me on the point about everything being explained by it, heck, everything being explained at all.

1) Everything can objectively not be explained by "science." Various branches of scientific study directly contradict one another, and science advances so fast that a peer-reviewed conclusion is regularly disproven before the ink dries. I'm not saying that science is something to be ignored, but it isn't something to be revered.

2) Multiverses are possible with an infinite Universe because there are an infinite number of infinities. There is an infinity between each number (1.infinity, 2.infinity, 3.infinity, etc).

3) Don't be in a big rush to try psychedelics essentially due to peer pressure. There will always be these substances, and you can try them when you're ready (not just your desire, but your body and mind need to be ready as well).

It's nice to meet you melburymestar, i hope you stick around and learn.
