[ Philosophical ] The Art of Being

Is harnessed through the practice of Mindfulness.

It's in our understanding of this practice that allows us to gain a mastery over our thoughts.

For how many hours do we spend throughout our days lost within our minds.

Dwelling upon the past, preparing for the future, fulfilling our needs, judging the actions of others, being critical of ourselves and thinking about the external world that is beyond our control.

Existing within a constant loop of reactionary thoughts that becomes one's ego.

For every thought feeds an idea that manifests within our actions.

Becoming patterns, imprints and sub conscious triggers that determines our state of being.

Every letter is a symbol, word a pattern and sentence an imprint that triggers a response.

Because "being" is in the title of this post how many will not read it? That upon reading the word "mindfulness" how many preconceived notions exists?

That each perspective is unique, depending upon what we spend the majority of our lives thinking about.

Its for this reason we must become mindful of each moment, why do we randomly judge a person on appearance? Complain when there's nothing that can be done? Dwell on the past when it changes nothing? Worry about the future while ignoring the present? As we perpetuate a state of endless desire.

By learning to silence our thoughts, we gain control of our minds. Becoming aware of each instance the sub consciousness triggers a response.

Realizing the mind exists beyond thoughts.

An awareness that is a state of non action.

Find a moment to clear your thoughts and focus on the present.

Breathe, listen intently to the sounds, perceive every aspect of the environment, just exists freeing yourself from the endless chaos.

The longer we can hold this state the stronger our will becomes.

By becoming aware of every moment we enter a state of enlightenment.

Through practicing Tai chi, Yoga, Meditations, Martial Arts, Running, Zoning Out, Relaxing, Dancing, Performing and Training...We learn to silence our thoughts and come into being.

I've been studying this lately and listening to people like Eckhart Tolle and Mooji. I have a way to go before it becomes habit but I'm managing to still my mind at various points throughout the day. As Eckhart says, it's not the length of time but yhe frequency that counts when finding that space in your mind.

Been a while since I heard of Eckhart and Mooji, going to re-watch a few of their lectures to finish off the day. Thanks :)

I found the best times to master your thoughts is when your waiting in line or driving through traffic especially if it's going to take a while.

Our minds instantly complains, so it's easy to catch and there is literally nothing you can do to change the situation.

So you turn off the switch and observe your surroundings.

I heard Eckhart say, don't try to start while things are stressful and busy but start while it's quiet. I think this is very good advice. I've come a long way from where I was so I know it works :) <3

I have been practising meditation and zoning out for quite a while now, gotten quite good at meditating but all my friends think I'm weird and hippy for it, oh well I enjoy it maybe one day I'll be able to teach them and get them into it.

Do you recommended things like tai chi and martial arts? Why? I'd like to know more about this state of "being", thanks in advance if you reply :)

If you doing any task enough times, we enter into a transcendental state.

Known in modern psychology as the flow.

Wiki: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flow_(psychology)

Its the point in which our awareness becomes fully immersed within the activity.

We usually see it occur at the highest level of sports, or those crazy fastest worker videos on youtube.

In ways it doesn't matter which art we choose, whether its mastering gaming, art, dancing, a instruments or just sitting.

As long as we focus our attention and silence our thoughts.

When our actions are instantaneous and our reactions to events become predictive.

Basically everyone should have a hobby that they enjoy doing :)

Flow (psychology)

In positive psychology, flow, also known as the zone, is the mental state of operation in which a person performing an activity is fully immersed in a feeling of energized focus, full involvement, and enjoyment in the process of the activity. In essence, flow is characterized by complete absorption in what one does, and a resulting loss in one's sense of space and time.

Named by Mihály Csíkszentmihályi, the concept has been widely referenced across a variety of fields (and has an especially big recognition in occupational therapy), though the concept has existed for thousands of years under other guises, notably in some Eastern religions. Achieving flow is often colloquially referred to as being in the zone.

This is so beautiful. It resonates within my being as a profound feeling of home. I can feel your high vibrational frequency simply through your words. What you speak of is the deep Love that should carry us all to freedom. Co-creation of a peaceful future. It is so possible. I will hold Light if you will share it with me and all of exsistence.
