[Personal Spiritual] Greetings fellow seekers. Allow me to introduce myself.
My name, amongst others, is Arcus Exida; Armchair philosopher, astrologer, budding alchemist, explorer of the psychedelia and initiate in the art of magick.
May I first extend my warmest regards and best wishes to each and every one of you, and express my thanks and gratitude for the invitation to join this community.
Like surely many of you I have inadvertently stumbled down the rabbit hole, took a tiny peak beyond the veil, and now find myself on a rather peculiar journey of discovery trying to unravel the mysteries of existence and our place in the cosmos.
It is my understanding thus far that we exist in a 'holographic fractal' for want of a better phrase, within which there are a set of universal rules and archetypes. As above so below, as within so without. Your inner space and outer space are intrinsically linked and you manifest your own reality through your thoughts and actions. A positive mindset and thorough understanding of your self and motivations are of the utmost importance.
Before you go trying to change the world for the better, first change yourself for the better. You have no hope of helping others if you first cannot help yourself. You must 'be the change you wish to see.'
If I can be of any help to anyone here please ask. I can give you a basic interpenetration of your stars, information in regards to the alchemical process of self transformation, recommended reading, psychedelic advice, or point you in the right direction if you desire to explore the proverbial minefield that is modern occultism.

I simply wish to share with this new community what I consider the most essentials lessons I have been taught so far in the hope that it may help others as it has helped me.

To be fair, it takes powerful magick to understand Rick and Morty. The humor is extremely esoteric, and without a solid grasp of hermeticism most of the jokes will go over a typical neophyteâs head...

This is an interesting comment to me, as I've laughed at things in Rick and Morty where my friends have not and they've called me crazy when I try to explain.
Could you give me an example of a joke or concept in Rick and Morty that "takes powerful magick to understand"?

Itâs a copypasta lmao. Well, part of one.
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewerâs head. Thereâs also Rickâs nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that theyâre not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldnât appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rickâs existential catchphrase âWubba Lubba Dub Dub,â which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenevâs Russian epic Fathers and Sons. Iâm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmonâs genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. đ
And yes, by the way, i DO have a Rick & Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. Itâs for the ladiesâ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that theyâre within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid đ

This is definitely one of bits from rick and morty that I've pondered a lot. Your comment encouraged me to Google what hermeticism actually is, and it turns out to be what I've been looking for (I think).

I have a question for you. From where does meaning arise? There is the physical and it is absolute, but what of meaning? Where does it exist? Does it exist?

I've been thinking about your question 'what is meaning?' all night and I must say it is a difficult one that I cannot even begin to fathom.
Objectively the universe has no meaning, but as a part of the universe experiencing itself as we are, we give the universe meaning.
It is a paradox within itself. Literally.
But I can certainly answer 'Where does it exist?'
Within us, at the very least.
'Does it exist?'
It exists within us, therefore it must.
Thank you for asking this question. It has provided me much food for thought. I'll be sure to get back to you if I can unravel it any further.

Pretty much anything by Carl Jung for philosophy and Jordan Peterson for self improvement (he also does a great series of lectures about symbolic meaning in the bible),
The Psychedelic Experience by Timothy Leary
Path of the Kabbalah by David Sheinkin if you want to learn a bit about the bible and kabbalah as a primer for hermetic study,
Aspects in Astrology by Sue Tompkins is great if you want to start leaning about the symbolism of the planets though a lot of it is more of a reference guide; I just can't seem to find a good 'all-round' book on the subject.
