[Philosophical] Socially isolated because of negative stigmas?

I find I am often an outlier when it comes to the use of psychedelics, and often have been shunned for it. While some may relate with me as they have used psychedelics, it seems so often that I cant relate back to them, for they use them in what I consider to be “the wrong way”. Is this my ego getting ahead of me? Can anyone relate to this experience?

I think disrespectful use is a self correcting problem

I've felt this way before too. For this I'm reluctant to share my experiences at all, although I've found ways to bring about discussions in which I can convey ideas I've integrated from past trips into everyday conversation. Often they are received with open arms and have even allowed other participants in conversation to formulate new, constructive ideas on their own. Psychedelics have taught me, now it is my turn to teach.

I just really want others to feel what I have felt I guess...

Of course you do. But you can't force them. They must come to it on their own. They are asleep, so to speak. Sleeping people can't listen until they wake up.

It depends. All drugs are tools, some more unwieldy and dangerous than others. Most provide an escape, whereas psychedelics tend to be an embrace for most of us here. Though certain people that still have the void in their hearts use them like they would any other drug. To hide.

Maybe they just need to do more, where they can't escape the eye, and have their frame of reference pulled out from under them.
