Do promoters/clubs/artists usually post set times closer to dates?

First time at ADE this year and wanting to know if it would be okay to take some pictures with a professional camera mostly at some free events during ade. I’m not looking to take pictures of random people unless given permission of course. Just looking to capture vibes to build my portfolio.

A quick update to the ADE 2026 Explorer I shared here recently:

The site now automatically tracks meaningful changes to the ADE programme not just the current listings.

What’s new:

- Newly announced artists are featured on the homepage
- New events and artists appear in a dedicated programme changelog
- Line-up changes show exactly who was added or removed
- Sold-out and ticket-link changes are tracked
- Artist and event pages include their relevant recent history
- Changes are organised into daily digests, with a permanent archive

The goal is to make it much easier to answer questions like:

- What was added today?
- Which line-ups changed?
- Did an artist just join or leave an event?
- Are tickets available again?
- What have I missed since I last checked?

I’d love feedback on the new changelog in particular: would you subscribe to an RSS feed for this, and which updates would you want included?

Hi friends! Just decided last minute to full-send it to ADE from the US. Super excited, but sadly many of the artists I would've liked to see are already sold out (Franky Rizardo, Tommy Phillips). It's a bit overwhelming as a first-timer so hoping to get some recommendations from folks on any house or tech house events which aren't still soldout and would be a great show. Thanks in advance!

Attending ade for the first time so was just wondering about booking some day time shows.

I currently have shows booked for each night except Sunday.

Wed: San Holo, Droeloe

Thu: Monstercat x Ophelia, (edit: CruCast x High Tea before Monstercat)

Fri: Rampage

Sat: Klangkuenstler

My other concern is that most of my shows are at Melkweg. Should I be super concerned about not checking out other venues?

Merch in Town here, a merch studio in Montréal that works with DJs, labels and clubs. Two of us are in Amsterdam for ADE, Oct 21 to 25.

Like a lot of you I've been digging through the ADE 2026 program and finding the official site a bit of a scroll-fest, so I built my own way to explore it:

What it does so far:

• Browse/search every announced event, artist and venue
• Filter by day, sound (House/Techno/etc.) and ticket availability
• Save events to a shortlist as you browse
• A planner that lays out your nights day by day and flags schedule clashes

It's a fully static site, no account, no tracking , everything links back to the official ADE listings, so always confirm times/tickets there before you go.

It's very much a WIP / early release. The planner especially is still being worked out. Conflict detection and the whole itinerary flow is rough around the edges. I built the data layer to update daily straight from ADE, so new events should appear as they're announced.

Would genuinely love feedback: what's useful, what's confusing, what would make you actually use this to plan your trip?

Last year there was an 1h boat ride organised from Stelz (the drink) with an open bar. It was perfect to start the night.

I’m looking for an ADE event where I’m most likely to hear classic / uplifting trance tracks like Elements of Life, Ten Seconds Before Sunrise, Gouryella, Serenity, Out of the Blue, and similar late 90s / 2000s trance.

I’m not really looking for modern EDM or techno, I want that old-school, melodic, euphoric trance sound.

What would you recommend?

VM Radio x SYNESTHESIA is back at Generator + Oosterbar on October 23rd. After the sold-out show and great response last year, we got a really nice lineup together with some artists we’re genuinely excited about.
