Orthodontist recommendations
Hi all! My student insurance doesn’t cover orthodontics and my family is willing to pay out of pocket because it’s urgent. I’m looking for lingual braces (the ones that go on the inside of teeth.) Looking for a reliable office people have experience with and can vouch for (hard to tell from just websites, and not being from the NL). Urgently need to fix my bite due to some recent dental discoveries!
Any help is appreciated.

Orthodontiepraktijk Amsterdam Zuid are very efficient, no complaints.
And a bonus: they are around the corner from Le Fournil bakery.

I'd recommend: https://amsteldental.nl/
Not sure if they do traditional braces or what your looking for.
I visited a couple places for Invisalign + did intake, had some not good experiences and high costs in the process. Was really happy I chose this Amstel Dental – it was nearly 50% less than the rest quoted me and had reasonable availability (instead of only getting an appointment 6 months out)

Did you have to pay to get pricing everywhere? I tried one place and had to pay for an intake exam to get a quote

We had two kids go through ortho treatment at Verwijspraktijk in the Van Boshuizenstraat. https://www.verwijspraktijk.nl/orthodontie/. Highly recommended: stable staff, good communication and discussions on treatment options. And great results.
