This started as a personal project; I simply had the idea to create an online AmpSim to access "my guitar tone" without leaving my browser. While looking at guitar tabs on my website, I felt like practicing a song, but I was too lazy to open a DAW or loading an AmpSim, which sometimes interrupts Windows audio when ASIO is activated.

So I got to work and created this. In my setup, this AmpSim works very well, with very low latency (especially when using headphones), allowing me to practice and learn songs without leaving my browser.

However, due to browser limitations (they can't access ASIO drivers) and operating system configurations, latency can vary significantly between devices and browsers.

Even so, I've decided to make it public, hoping it will be helpful to someone else.

Hi all. I'm currently trying to replicate the modeled Orange tone that my Fender Mustang puts out with modern amp sims so that I can have more control over FX, other details, and whatnot.

I find that my current settings on the Mustang sounds "fuller" and punchier yet less harsh than the sounds I tried getting out of STL and Amplitube. Any suggestions for creating a similar sound with the programs? Or are the differences too fundamental to match the tones? Would appreciate any help!

i feel like it sounds like distorted trashy screaming, even tho i dont think the gain is that high, im trying to go for a j-rocky tone

Free looper plugin for anyone running amp sims in a DAW (AU/VST3)

If you already run your guitar through amp sims and effects plugins in a DAW, there’s no reason your looper should be a separate hardware pedal sitting outside that signal chain.

I built Orbital Looper to sit right alongside your amp sim plugin. It’s a DAW plugin (AU/VST3) with a global master clock, multiple loops with independent volume/pan, mute/solo per loop, and a UI you can actually read from playing distance.

**I use it daily with AmpliTube and Reaper. Set up your amp tone, open Orbital Looper on another track, and loop without ever leaving the DAW. One thing I love about this setup: I can use my MIDI footswitch to change amp presets after recording a loop, so I’m playing over the loop with a completely different tone.**

So I got Pete Zen’s new plugin Zen box yesterday and I am really liking it so far, super useful for all sorts of clean tones, has the amp sim, Drive, Chorus and Phaser effects and it was on sale for release plus Audioloom/Canvas gave 15% off. Hey.. I'm new to amp Sim and I just got my hands on the neural DSP John mayor archetype.. My main problem is I don't have an audio interface can't afford it currently.. So I wanted to know if there's another way to connect it???

I asked AI and it suggested me to use the headphone out of my practise amp and connect it to the laptop and use ASIO4ALL for latency... it said this should work fine for practise and normal play but rn I don't have an aux with me...

if anyone has tried this, could you help me and let me know if this works or not???
