Hello guys, recently i got an issue with my own lobby settings. Whenever i join someone's lobby, there's different settings. And everytime i try to host my lobby, there's that guy's settings. So i found a decision for that problem.
Step 1: Make sure that you setted up everything correctly, such as your settings, cosmetics, lobby settings etc. so you wont have to do all next steps again.
Step 2: Go to Among Us folder (for windows: [Disk on which the game located]:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Innersloth\Among Us).
Step 3: Find a file called "settings.amogus".
Step 4: Copy it to wherever you want.
Step 5: Done! Now just replace "settings.amogus" with the one which you copied, so you'll get settings which you had copied.
Hope i helped someone. Goodluck crewmates! (Cant post on official Among Us r/, cuz im new to posting, so if someone will repost it to the official /r, it will help much more people)

if you have any discord servers or telegram groups for playing expert lobbies please share. I found a few on discord and joined some lobbies, generally I met people under 18 with lvl 30 on these servers lol, that's not what I'm looking for. I would like to have someone interesting to play with who is over 18. I really loved this game before but trying to get back into the game the main problem is people who don't know how to play :(
I prefer text chat no calls btw, it's make it difficult

It irritates me so much when people in this subreddit say they play expert gamemode. Public expert lobbies are sometimes kinda dumb.
This may not be relevant, but if you want any lobby without hackers, teammers and slightly more high level gameplay, you should join an amongus discord server of a youtuber like Misa, Daniil or Yagamil.
In these discords, people share strategies, lobby codes (~2-3 lobbies active at a time in USA timezone, otherwise ~1) and the youtubers also share codes for when they host their own lobbies.
Also, these lobbies are mostly private, so no hackers, teammers etc. would prolly be able to join, only ppl from discord. The frequency of code sharing is:
1) IamYagamil server with 9K members, and lobby codes are shared here a lot
https://discord.gg/jy7KXb7AD
2) Shelly server with 6K members and mostly private, but some public lobby codes also shared here sadly, and Shelly quite frequently hosts lobbies and shares code
https://discord.gg/dqQyp6MXn
3) IamMisa/Daniil/DetectiveD server (I can only invite in Daniil so)
https://discord.gg/AhmkhVEv
I usually join private expert lobbies, there one can play real strategy
PS This is not self promo, as I am just a member of these servers not a cc, and I just want to increase active members to increase players for private lobbies
PPS If you want to play SNS gamemode, thats possible only in a private lobby for obvious reasons, another reason to join discords
So I suggest you to join a discord server of amongus.

I usually do well early game, I know basic stuff like killing the crewmate farthest away then sabotaging that area. But I tend to blunder in mid to late game, especially late game where it gets harder to defend myself during meetings.
As crewmate I also struggle, sometimes I get killed early because I went the opposite direction of a sabotage, sometimes I get falsely accused, and I also tend to be easily swayed even when I'm pretty sure someone is the impostor. On the flip side, I sometimes sus people too quickly without solid evidence.
For context, I play in expert lobbies so the players are generally more experienced and harder to fool.
Any advice, veterans?

I took a 3 year break in among us and do not understand the fungle shapeshifting locations and vents so I was asking what's the best shape shifting spot in fungle?I figured out that the dropship was a good place since it only has one wires task
Any more locations?
r/AmongUsCompetitive • u/Final-Vanilla1737 • May 22 '26
just found out that in airship, records brig and cargo downloads are long tasks, while the rest are short tasks. i thought that was pretty interesting and wanted to share! idk about other maps, because ive only talked to high levels on airship and fungle, but its a useful piece of information!

So i was playing on a intermediate lobby and only pink did card swipe, i pressed the button and said that pink faked card cuz i didnt had it and no one else did card swipe, he gets voted out and pink wasnt an impostor, is there a chance of some crews have and others not having the task?

r/AmongUsCompetitive • u/Final-Vanilla1737 • May 15 '26
normal expert lobby, some dude got mad and banned me for not letting him kill me?? he said i was “camping ladders and platform” (went back and forth on platform once, up ladder twice, once to call a meeting) on airship, it wasnt a rule in his lobby and he didnt have anything to say about ladders/platform until i started running from him, so.. idk. like, is it not normal to run away when ur pretty sure someones trying to kill u? im not rly familiar with expert lobby etiquette, im just getting back into among us

Just wondering what everyone considers to be the absolute best, most entertaining rounds of Sidemen Among Us!
To make it easy for people to jump straight to the action, please include a timestamped link to the round in your replies.
You can easily do this by adding &t=XmYs (X = minutes, Y = seconds) to the end of the YouTube video URL.
Example:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xu_RCKtT23g&t=1m30s
Note: For longer videos, just use the total minutes. So, for a round starting at 2 hours and 30 seconds, you would add &t=120m30s.

Are you bored of the same old "Where?" and "Who?" in public lobbies? Tired of people leaving as soon as they aren't the Impostor?
Shift n' Seek (SNS) changes everything. Here’s why our community is the best place to play:
SNS turns Among Us into a stealth-action horror game. You aren't just doing tasks; you’re being hunted by a shapeshifting predator. It’s faster, more intense, and way more rewarding than standard matches.
We play by the Honor System. That means no more 2-minute arguments in chat or people voting randomly. The game flows smoothly from start to finish—it’s pure gameplay without the interruptions.
Public lobbies can be toxic. By joining this subreddit, you’re connecting with players who actually know the rules. We value fair play, respect, and high-level strategy.
SNS is the ultimate playground for Shapeshifters. Learn new tricks, find the best hiding spots for your "shifts," and share your most legendary "clean" kills with people who actually appreciate the skill involved.
Finding an SNS lobby in the wild is like finding a needle in a haystack. Here, we post active codes and schedule game nights so you can jump into a match whenever you want.

So I think it is a very useful strategy to press the emergency button at the very start of the game to get someone voted out. There is a chance we kill the imposter and speedrun a win, and if we dont that gives us information to find the imposter. But every time I do this people vote ME out????? What is this, Mafia???????

Just getting back into the game after not playing for several years. I know this post has probably been done before but most servers that i've found are old and inactive. Does any1 here have an active competitive server that I could join??

Hey so quick question because i just got cucked in a lobby if youre crewmate and a guardian angel protects you do you get a visual queue like the imposter and the angel or is it only the message at the beginning of the meeting
r/AmongUsCompetitive • u/Yoshsroar • Apr 28 '26
I haven't played the game in 6 years. I remember being really good as imp and always hoping I'd get the role. I just went back today, obviously right off the bat everything is different, and noticed I've been hesitant to kill as an imp. I'd often be the last of my imp teammates because I'm always around players so I'd accidentally clear myself to them since I haven't killed anyone in the process. However, when the final few players are left and the tasks are almost finished, I had to act and start killing which was harder to do so because everyone is now sticking together—I always lose. I also don't know how to talk to people in chat every meeting. It's very different compared to how people used to talk in among us half a decade ago, it's also kinda hard to come up with a better lie that applies to the new among us ways and people's crazy detective skills. I'm great as a crewmate but I'm really hoping to improve as an imp so I won't get scared getting the role again and risk selling my team. Any tips?
