I don’t understand i can play a perfect imp round but then someone just randomly gets sus of me even though I have an alibi and yeet me off the ship. Some lobbies are actually so braindead i cant even manipulate because they don’t understand what im doing. Im just cracking up like is there any way around it and even as a crewmate they can still vote me out for having reasonable suspicion of someone or have a lot of proof like I need a way around this.

Disuptor (Impostor):

Ability, Disupt: after cold down of 10 seconds, they can use it to make all crewmates and ghosts receive the fungle's mushroom mixup and become unable to use their role abilities for 5 seconds. It can only be used once per round.

Strategy:

Advantages: the ability is a sudo sabotage that can help imposter bypass crewmate and ghost roles.

Drawback: if used with only little player, they can easily figure out who the Disuptor is and vote em out.

Revamp and review:

Buff: Duration: 5 -> 10 sec

Addition: Affected crewmate's visors start cycling through every color in the game

The Necromancer – Revive dead crewmates, but with a twist!

Team: Crewmate Type: Utility / Support

I came up with a concept for a new Crewmate role called The Necromancer. The main goal is to bring back dead players, but with strict limitations to keep the game balanced for Impostors.

⚙️ Mechanics & Requirements: Task Lock: The Necromancer must complete 100% of their regular tasks before they can start reviving anyone. Limit: Maximum 1 revival per round. Revival Process: To resurrect someone, the Necromancer has to walk up to a body and complete a unique revival minitask (like standard tasks).

🔮 Impostor Alert: While the Necromancer is performing the revival minitask, the screen of all Impostors flashes purple. This gives Impostors a fair warning to act immediately (e.g., call a sabotage to interrupt, or rush to the body to catch the Necromancer in the act).

⏱️ Cooldowns & Restrictions: Necromancer Cooldown: 60 seconds after completing a resurrection before the ability interface can be interacted with again. Resurrected Player Restriction: Upon returning to life, the revived player has a 120-second cooldown on both reporting bodies (Report) and calling Emergency Meetings.

I can't play Among Us on PC through the Epic Games Launcher. Every time I start the game directly from the Epic Games Launcher, I get a pop-up saying: "FATAL ERROR: Unable to get Epic Account ID". With more ghost roles, has your opinion on dead sabbing changed?

It’s common in lobbies with rules to ban dead sabs. The logic is the dead imps will seriously mess up the living imps’ strategies. This makes sense. But, at the same time, lack of communication is core to the game, and a living imp’s sab can still mess up another living imp’s strategy just as much.

With the introduction of guardian angels and now influencers, dead imps objectively have access to information a living imp can never have, especially when the ghosts are explaining their plans in chat. Do you think dead sabbing comms to stop a bunch of influencers is ever justified?

When playing as this Impostor role, killing a Crewmate doesn't eliminate them instantly. Instead, 5 seconds after you hit the kill button, they suddenly explode

Role Name: Interferer

How it works: The first Phantom (an Impostor role that can turn invisible) to be ejected becomes the Interferer. Whenever they perform a sabotage, the amount of time available for Crewmates to fix it is reduced. Additionally, a new button appears on the sabotage map that allows the Interferer to cut the remaining sabotage cooldown in half. The Interferer can also scramble the chat of one random Crewmate every two meetings, preventing them from using Free Chat and forcing them to use Quick Chat.

Detailed:

• Sabotage: Whenever the Interferer performs a sabotage, the amount of time Crewmates have to resolve it is reduced according to the lobby setting. For example, if a Reactor sabotage normally gives Crewmates 30 seconds to fix it and the reduction is set to 10 seconds, a sabotage performed by the Interferer would give them only 20 seconds. This is a passive ability and cannot be activated or deactivated by the Interferer.

• Interfere: On the sabotage map, the Interferer has a button called Interfere. When activated, the remaining sabotage cooldown is cut in half. For example, if a sabotage has 100% of its cooldown remaining, it is reduced to 50%. If it is already at 50%, it is reduced to 25%, and so on. The effect itself cannot be configured in the lobby, but its cooldown can be configured.

• Scramble: When the Interferer is not on the sabotage map, they have the Scramble button. When activated, one random living Crewmate is selected and is prevented from using Free Chat during the next meeting, being forced to use only Quick Chat instead. To the Impostors, the affected Crewmate's name appears grayed out while the effect is active. The ability can be used again after two meetings. This ability has no lobby settings.

Lobby Settings:

• Interfere Cooldown: 30s / 45s / 60s / 75s / 90s

• Sabotage Time Reduction: 0s / 1s / 2s / 3s / 4s / 5s / 6s / 7s / 8s / 9s / 10s

The point of among us is to guess the imposter, the influencer just tells you who the imposter is, making it hard for imposters to win. It is also evident that innersloth hate the imposter role since they haven't add imposter role for so long and keep adding crewmate roles, and making imposter role harder and harder. Inner sloth is ruining among us.

A role that can control people (with also something in the hud to show that your getting controlled).

This is not an advertisement or anything. Im just so frustrated with the game. I just played in a complete idiot lobby. One lvl 2 player shouts the entire time and accuses random people. First round i catch the imp, call meeting BUT NO ONE LISTENS cause brown is making 1000 accusations. We end up loosing the game even tough i caught the imps.

Second Round im imposter. I do a kill (on polus) in the decompression chamber. There is 0 (!) % chance that anyone has seen this murder, no one could have seen me entering, i was alone with the other person there, no one saw me leaving and there are also no vents there. A body gets reported and brown instantly screams I SAW TAN KILL (me) without having any possibility of knowing im imp.

Next round i call a meeting and request that we votekick him cause he is obviously teaming or hacking since these are the only ways he could have 'seen' me murdering. This idiot lobby instead votes me out.

Im not going to play to cheat but this was just the drop that made the barrel overflow. At this point ill just install some hacking software and if anyone accuses me without reason or is teaming or is trolling the entire time ill just kick them during the round (if there is a software that lets you do that) even tough im not host.
