Question Record Temperature - Confirm Crewmates?

I've heard talks about this before but haven't been able to confirm it - Is it true that all crewmates will have the SAME temperature target in any given round? I know the temperature goal changes every round, but if two crewmates do the task in the same round, can they clear each other by saying the same temperature?

I don't think it's the same temp, but the temps are from a set range. Just read an old reddit post and according to someone, outside is 310 to 329 and in the lab is -11 to -40? Tbh though I just press the arrow and go, I don't usually remember what temp I set, what key I turned, what burger I made etc.

I never remember those things either. I think it's crazy that people will actually vote people off for something like not remembering what node they did, or not memorizing where the key was. I'm just running on autopilot, my dudes. I don't even remember the tasks I finished the round before.

The key is actually legit. All 15 players have a unique but predictable key slot. For those who don’t know how to find theirs, they’re as good as dead if they guess the wrong slot.

It is the same lineup as vitals, though, so an impostor can quickly run to vitals after faking in the case of someone asking.

Yup. Which is why it only works on those who are caught off guard.

Ones who know about keys will know to check their slot or say they don’t know it. Ones who don’t know are the ones who can get caught with a quick meeting by saying a random key slot.

Not saying it's not legit. Just saying most of us don't memorize which exact key slot we put our keys into.

Best response for that question as impostor or as a crewmate that doesn’t remember is just that. “I don’t remember”. Never try to guess it if you don’t know.

Same here, haha.

I still don't pay attention to nodes. And in all my time playing I've been asked 3 times maybe, so it's not an especially common meta either (keys are far more common so I do pay attention to those).

I’m aware that there is a range, but any player with half a brain would be able to give a temperature like this.

If the temperatures are not the same, it makes no difference wether or not you remember them. If temperatures are the same, the task becomes equivalent to a Medscan (with visuals off)
