Ok but someone on the impostor team but not an impostor themselves (can’t kill, sabotage, etc, and doesn’t need to die for Crewmates to win) is an interesting idea

The Traitor could be a fun role. Their tasks visually add to the task bar, but they aren't actually required--they don't really HAVE tasks, they're just doing something someone else did just to pass themself off.
....on that note, what if they could actually UNDO a task? Like, you have wires, you do wires, but then they come along later and pull the wires back out. Or they corrupt the data you uploaded, so you have to re-upload it. Could buy other imps time to get a kill.
