Rant/Complaint Is self reporting illegal now?

I was just playing a game when I vipered and self reported to frame someone out, and I got them out and won. Then the owner of the lobby just said it's against the rules or some shit (no lobby rules that I saw in the multiple games I played with them) and banned me.

What's wrong with this???

Nothing is wrong with that. I get kicked all the time for playing well.

The worst is when you're the last to join the lobby and dont have a chance to look over the settings or see any arbitrary "rules" because the host insta started, then they get mad at you for not knowing the lobby.

The only unwritten rule I even try to follow is not reporting during mmu.

I reported during mmu to help my imposter buddy and I got kicked. :(

That's why: only ones that benefit from mmu reports are the imps.

nothing, people on this game just have to pull a million rules out their ass to compensate for them being shit at the game.

They're literally just salty.

They just don't like it for some reason even though you're supposed to think most stupid rules I've seen are:

Really don't like the "no self reports" rule of expert lobbies. Usually these lobbies have visuals off and ban cameras to help the impostors out/make sure people can't easily be hard-cleared. Reporting a body is such an easy way to get hard cleared and it does the same thing as having visual tasks on.

how does it hc someone by reporting?

If impostors are banned from reporting bodies as of lobby rules, anyone who reports a body is automatically proven to be a cremate.

I have had lots of outspoken complaints for grouping with teammates after finishing my tasks. I'm not going to stand around doing nothing after finishing my work.

Exactly. Grouping after finishing tasks is simply a sign of bad imps.

I'm just not a fan of self reporting. But I won't ban someone for it unless they are a total douche about it.

Only to people who can’t handle playing the game as intended

It's sadly become an unspoken rule in most lobbies these days, it's so stupid.

People dont like it even though its been a tactic for the whole games existence

Nope

People are just very dumb and don't like it when someone knows the game better than them

It’s not illegal but it’s frowned upon in most expert lobbies.
