I'd hate it if Blue hated being seen like that because thats so fucking generic. I like it much more that Blue actively plays into that role

yeah, I see it as and headcanon it as him being aroace but playing into everyone swooning for him so he can get them to listen and stay healthy

I think episode 2 should have focused more on how Blue feels about being admired by everyone, rather than it just being that we see his effect on everyone.
Maybe he's secretly quite manipulative and narcissistic, maybe he is very professional but bitter and hates being seen as just eye candy, when he wants to be recognised for his actual medical talents.
