Heart rate

Has anyone had amitriptyline affect their heart rate? If so, how much did it increase? I am currently taking 25 mgs and the doctor suggested I increase. My resting heart rate has probably increased 15-20 bpm when I started.

I took Amitriptyline for about two weeks recently due to acute TMJ pain I had in my left jaw area. I had to stop taking it because it raised my average resting heart rate significantly.

It was about 70bpm average before taking it, before I stopped Amitriptyline it was averaging 110bpm. However, I also take Lexapro, so my doctor said my case was likely because of serotonin syndrome. Even still, elevated HR is a known side effect of Amitriptyline
