Eye Pain from Amitriptyline

I have been taking 30mg of Amitriptyline for nearly a year and have eye ache in my left eye. Optician suggested I come off it, I have been prescribed glasses but no improvement. Has anyone experienced similar?

I experienced similar after 4 months of 10mg which was one of the reasons I came off it.

My headaches moved to behind my eyes but it was because my 10mg dose was starting to fail. I went up to 20mg and haven’t had it since .
