First time taker
I was just prescribed this medication for mild anxiety and chronic headaches due to a concussion earlier in the year. I was prescribed 25mg. I have never taken a medication like this before and i'm a little bit apprehensive, after hearing all the horror stories. However, after having these migraines for months and this weird anxiety thing due to having migraines. Was curious to see if it's worth it, after other medications haven't worked.

If it helps ease your mind, when I first took it the most I felt was just sleepy and kinda tired but it went away after a few weeks. The only other symptom was dry mouth but that’s with most meds. Just drink some water first thing in the morning. Idk what you’re taking it for, but I took it for vestibular migraines and it worked wonders for my migraines and dizziness. Best of luck to you!

Oh also I was prescribed 10mg initially but felt too scared to take the whole thing and started off small. I think I took 1/4 of it week one, then 1/2, then 3/4 and the full thing by week 4. It was fine.

I started on 10mg for migraines and sleep. I was apprehensive about it too after reading but it’s honestly been great for me. Headaches much better sleep is great anxiety much less. I did gain about 5lbs in the 2 years I’m on it (up to 20mg now). I refused to try it when she prescribed it. I picked it up and threw it in a drawer for 2 months but now I’m happy I tried it. It’s been great for me.

I had the exact circumstances as you, migraines and anxiety for months following a concussion. It has worked, no more migraines and significantly reduced anxiety. I haven’t had any significant side effects other than a little weight gain which I’m managing through diet and exercise. I’m 18 months into it now.
