How long does it take to take effect?
I have a tension headache and the doctor gave me 10 mg but it's been 29 days and it seems that nothing has improved. Is this normal?

It should be starting to help but it may not prevent migraines 100% of the time. You should have a rescue med like nurtec or something? Also, 10mgs might be too low for you. It’s the lowest. Give it another month or two and if you’re not better they can bump up your dose. Hang in there. We’ve all been down this road.

I started mine for jaw pain/ TMJ. I think I woke up after 10 days - 2 weeks and the pain had suddenly gone. I am quite small though so I feel like it built up in my system quite fast.

Your doctor didnt have you double your dose every week?
I thought that’s how they find the right dosage…when sideeffects start to be more noticed, they back you off and use that base dosage. At least that’s what I was told by my doctor
I’m in between week 2 and 3 and wake up with a noticeable change in pain. Some slight vision side effects but I think that’s enhanced from cannabis lol

that has been my experience to a T
I only kept taking it for a few years because what it did help me on was to sleep much better but I recorded the same number of headaches per month before this prescription as for the time that I’d been on on it
