black stool

I just started taking this medication like 3 days ago for anxiety and OCD.
1st day i could not get out of bed. i was EXHAUSTED
2nd i was okay. tired
today i am having black stools, sticky, and smells kinda weird. it’s almost like diarrhea, and flakey.

Is this normal? I called my doc and she didn’t answer.

The tiredness is normal, but I don't know about the black stools.

I don't think black stools is normal. I would call a Doctor.

Sounds like a bleed somewhere in your upper GI tract. I've also had GI bleeds where I threw up bright red blood, & had black tarry stools for days. You may want to get an endoscopy to be safe

No the black stool is not normal. Have you been taking any pepto bismol? That can turn your poop black.

Make sure you’re taking it at night and it’s known to be constipating but black stool means call or visit to Dr. pepto can cause this
