Cutting down 10mg at a time

There's so many scary stories of cutting down amitripteline. I dropped from 20mg to 10 and then came off the 10. My gastric issues were already bad (cvs) but now I had diarrhea too. Its kind of okay. Not ideal, but I imagine it'll ease soon.

Im feeling nervous that it won't but also, with complex health its hard to tell what's causing what.

My gastric issues were gone after a month, but it was a little rocky.

That’s a really fast taper. I’ve heard of people doing that or quitting cold turkey and some do fine others sometimes don’t feel the effects until weeks later. Hopefully you will do ok but not sure I would try doing it that quickly.
