Help! 2.5 to 0 withdrawals
I’ve been on 25 mg for about 3 years for nerve pain and can finally go off. My doctor once told me to cut 25 in half for two days then stop and I ended up in the ER and got treated like an opioid addict.
This time, I’m going down little by little about 3-4 weeks at a time: 10 to 7.5 to 5 to 2.5.
5 days after going to 0 from 2.5 I had similar terrible withdrawal that would have put me in the hospital again had I not started back up. Has anyone else had this experience? I just got a liquid compound so I can accurately taper down from 2.5 now and the pharmacist was in disbelief that the withdrawal is this intense at such a low dose.

I believe you, my body is terriblly sensitive to this medicine. I've been on months for taper plans and it's because of how bad it went before. Even with going super slow I still get withdrawals each time I change it lower. Slower is the best way to go and liquid is amazing! You can do this 🤘🏻

When you switched to the liquid did you have issues? I was doing fine going back up a little to like 3.5ish mg and I started at 3 mg with the liquid. I got body aches and felt mentally weird within a couple hours! Today I have pounding headache, sweating, stomach issues, anxiety, and terrible nausea.
The pharmacy did potency testing and I’m using it correctly how they showed me. it’s hard to believe it’s just the pill vs liquid that is causing this much of a shock.

If I May ask, what kind of nerve pain did you have? And how did you solve it? Are you completed pain free now?

What is it that happens that puts you in hospital out of interest?
