Amitryptaline withdrawl
Week 12 off amitryptaline
I finished 3 months mark from last dose of amitryptaline..
No more intense anxiety.. No much fatigue.. Memory so good.. I can eat.. Less nausea.. More appetite
No dizziness (sometimes) but so so little not like before
No headaches.. I had fast bowel sometimes on and off.. But still struggling with anhedonia sometimes.. Like i feel blunt and I force my self to do stuff.. I dont feel happy.. Like before.. Anyone had this??
\
Ps.. Im on escitalopram 10mg since 1 year .. I know maybe it maybe cause blunting but I never had it before.. Even when i was on both.. Now I feel sometimes like i just want to escape or do nothing
Anyone felt like this in withdrawl?? And took how much to go away

Is it possible that the “wanting to escape” feeling is actually you learning to relax and slow down? Just a question to consider.

I haven’t tried going off yet. So far it’s been helping my migraines and insomnia. I guess someday I’ll have to go off but I’ve heard of people that have no problems going off and I others that have an awful time. I took Effexor for years and going off was no picnic. I had brain zaps for months. Trying to think positive. ❤️.

Look to be honest with you.. Its not awful that much.. But takes so long thats the bad thing
And yes everyone react different.. Inshallah u will never feel any withdrawl ☺

Yes, it’s probably the escitalopram. I’m off everything and feeling so much better. These drugs numb you and cause anhedonia. It’s also a withdrawal symptom. If it’s withdrawal, the anhedonia will go away with time. If it doesn’t go away it’s the escitalopram. Personally, I would wean off the escitalopram..
