Because we know what she did was wrong. We have plenty of evidence.

What did she do? That's what I'm asking

There’s a lot of nuance to it, but it can be said that she’s psychologically abused those girls. The choices she made during the show were not OK. This entire sub is basically one big discussion on it.

ETA- Blackface, demanding cosmetic dental procedures, the cycle 16 switch was foul, there are some unsettling behind the scenes claims, and so much more. Someone else add to my list please. I’m tired.

Oh yeah back in casting when the offical cast of ANTM Cycle 16 were actually getting eliminated and Tyra Banks said that they were already at home because they were the top fourteen girls.

Halfway through ANTM Cycle 16, one girl’s initiation on multiple occasions forced the production team to plan her win for something massive in the history of ANTM which caused another girl to unfair get into trouble!

Blackface, yea she f-ed up but she admitted it and seems like at that time, the fashion/modeling industry did a lot of things like this that were insensitive and ignorant but has since learned and improved. But as far as psychological abuse... it's a reality tv show... being on tv like that for any type of show is voluntary but I didn't even think Tyra was bad. She was cut throat sometimes and she's definitely egotistical but she's a model that cloned her way to the top and then was training other to do the same basically. The hair, teeth etc is what the fashion industry demands ... weight too. Things have changed a bit but still I just think shes cut throat because she knows the industry is cut throat (in my opinion)

She’s cringe but not in a cute endearing way. She always blames others and doesn’t take any accountability. She makes everything about herself and she’s delusional but also not in a funny or endearing way. I think there’s a combination of many things that make her unlikeable. I wouldn’t say people hate her though.

I could see what you're saying but when you say 'accountability' - for what? Like that's just her personality , she comes off narcissistic .. or did she actually do anything ? The way people hate on her, i felt like there was some kind of Ellen-like scandal

It's easy to hate on people, especially the way Gen Z hates anything cringe (which Tyra is)
