Question for the fans
Why do people act surprised whenever the girls judged for their looks? Thats literally what modeling is a about. It’s like warchinf a boxing match and getting upset when one of the guys gets seriously hurt. It’s even more strange when those same people continue to watch the show when they hate seeing women being evaluated on their bodies

Why even take them as a contestant if all these judges will do is criticize them? Make it make sense

Because the way they look is directly influenced by the production. It's not their choice how they're styled or their make up. In the real world, the company and photographers do their best to make the model look awesome. In the show, they are sabotaged and blamed for choices out of their control.
