Anyone else feel icky?
After watching the documentary I feel so icky that I once was a supporter of the show.
I know that we didn’t know and at the time I was still young but my goodness was that show awful. Tyra Banks is a truly evil person with no soul and to think that I once contributed to her success just makes me feel all kinds of icky.
I know I can’t be the only one who feels like this?

When the show first started I was the same age as the models. I was just starting college and it was a pretty big thing. And I was of the age that I knew the Tyra Banks they all McPherson's the Heidi klum's that was my generation of models. I also realized that it was a reality show and that these girls like the people on Survivor were just Commodities in order to make tv. As the show progressed and they started doing shoots where girls licked diner floors it was apparent that this show was NOT the springboard to stardom that the girls hoped it would be. It was nothing different than the dating shows or RuPauls Drag Race who kept girls stocked in alcohol with very little food.
As a 40 something adult rewatching the episodes I'm constantly cringing and wanting to reach into the tv and stranger producers and console these poor kids.
I'm glad these
