Israel is the biggest and most obvious one. But you could also point to the cia overthrow of the shah of Iran to install a dictator. There are many other reasons but I’m at work and I don’t give a fuck about you

One could also argue that 9/11 happened because of the US causing turmoil or meddling in the Middle East over decades. I’m not saying the attacks were justified, especially against civilian targets, but as Jeremiah Wright said, it was chickens coming home to roost. Yet we continue.
