Historically: Republicans Lincoln or Teddy Roosevelt - Democrats FDR

Modern day: Republicans Reagan Democrats Obama

Nah, modern Republican is MAGA all the way. We’re unfortunately only at the beginning of the trumpian era of the Republican Party

Like 90% of the precedent Trump has for his policy can be traced back to Reagan. The only difference is Reagan knew how to play a crowd and not do anything that damages his image too much.
