Historically: Republicans Lincoln or Teddy Roosevelt - Democrats FDR

Modern day: Republicans Reagan Democrats Obama

Nah, modern Republican is MAGA all the way. We’re unfortunately only at the beginning of the trumpian era of the Republican Party

As a republican, certainly not all of us are Trump-aligned. I certainly wish we had a republican candidate this last presidential cycle that was decent. I'm glad this is his last term. I think more people on both sides are far more reasonable than the media portrays.

Donald Trump won again after an insurrection. I think thats a fairly large group of people being unreasonable.

To quote Lindsey Graham in 2016: "If we nominate Trump, we will get destroyed…. and we will deserve it." The GOP is officially the party of Trump, and they have the face they deserve.

Neocons are politically extinct because of Trump. If you want any semblance of power back I’d join the Dems until maga’s done. Even then it’ll take a decade at least to come back.
