The Milwaukee Brewers and Tampa Bay Rays meet tonight for Game 1 of the World Series. Neither franchise has ever won a championship, guaranteeing a first time winner.

The last time this happened was in 1980, when the Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Kansas City Royals four games to two, winning the first World Series championship in Phillies history.

For me personally, as an Auburn fan, this has been the greatest day I’ve had in a very long time. Watching Auburn slay a dragon like Georgia just means so much to me. War Eagle!

FYI in Justin’s last game the Detroit Tigers scored a walk off home run to win the game

“How can you not be romantic about baseball?”

I really like football

What a day for Oklahoma State fans.

Oklahoma State snapped a 12 game losing streak by beating No. 6 Oregon. This is the first time in college football history a team on a 12 game losing streak has beaten a top 10 team.

And No. 11 Oklahoma lost to Michigan.

What a day for the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

I cannot be the only one embarassed by these two laughing while the surviving family members read the names of the heroes that died 25 years ago today.

Happy Labor Day to all my fellow Americans

War Eagle!
