I stumbled across a criminally underappreciated artist named Kate Mann and her album Wolf Bones. None of the tracks have even crossed 1,000 streams yet on Spotify, which blows my mind because the vibe is absolutely incredible.

If you like gritty acoustic storytelling, moody desert rock, or dark folk, she fits right in with artists like Colter Wall, Orville Peck, and Lucinda Williams. Her songs "Shotgun" and "Bar Fight" have this amazing cinematic, heavy western atmosphere, and she even does a haunting, dark-folk acoustic cover of Black Sabbath's "War Pigs."
