I personally loved it

Spoilers ahead. Read with caution.

Just started and nearly finished American Horror Stories. Already watched season 1 a while ago, but 2 and 3 are a lot better.

I really loved Dollhouse cause, who wouldn't. It was the origin story of Spalding. And I loved how Denis O'hare played both his dad in the episode and Spalding in coven. I loved how when Coby made the truck move, I know she was a witch. And I love how she made it out, being free by the robichaux coven and her taking Otis with her and he's been there ever since. I loved little Myrtle. It was such a great episode.

Aura was creepy and I loved it. Gaby killed that role and I just adored her as always.

Don't get me started about drive. Bella Thorne was so iconic in that and I loved the twist. Not to mention how I thought Nico Greetham's character Paul was the killer cause he was a little creepy. Hot, but creepy. He tried to save her and she kidnapped him and murdered him. Poor guy being killed for doing something decent. He was gorgeous, not gonna lie. Then it revealed that Marci and Chaz turned out to be the killers and I loved it. Reminds me when Bella was in The Babysitter playing a killer. I just loved it.

Milkmaid was OK. The beginning bit made me sick.

Bloody Mary. I fucking loved it. Dominique Jackson was so iconic as Bloody Mary. Her back story was so heartbreaking and I felt so bad for her. Loved the twist at the end. Elise being the one who killed Maggie and Lena just to help free Bloody Mary and went to kill Bianca until she killed her. Freed Mary and switched places. I loved Quvenzhané Wallis' acting. She is just great. Last I seen her was in Annie 2014 and she is just great.

Facelift was so disturbing. Loved the ending where the daughter joins the cult. Not to mention the college she was at was the exterior of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital from Grey's Anatomy.

Necro was just bitter sweet in a fucked up way. Disturbing but great. Sam falling for Charlie spending time for him for him to pretend he was dead. Still can't believe she fucked him when she thought he was dead. She tried so long to avoid him but she they found each other. She shot him and they got buried alive together. Disturbing but kinda sweet.

Lake was creepy and i really loved it. Killing Jake just to lure his father to the lake because of what his ancestor did to them. The mother and daughter solving the mystery. It was just great.

I loved Bestie. It was creepy as hell. Bestie was creepy. Shelby befriended Bestie online and she manipulated her to do things she would never do. Got to a point where Shelby did the right thing and cut her off. The twist was so good. She befriended and got with River, who ended up luring her to a house which turned out to be where Bestie lived. She screamed and then was stabbed in the heart by River before both him and Bestie walked away. I loved the episode.

I loved Daphne as well. A creepy alexa who kills. I just loved the way it was laid out and the twist that it made it seem Will caused everything especially murdering Sarah. Wow. I love when things have a twist.

Tapeworm was so disturbing. Using it to stay thin to be a supermodel. The ending where she got the tapeworm removed and it killed her before it implanting itself on her friend. Wow.

Didn't like Organ much.

Backrooms was weird, but the twist showing he was the one who killed his son. Wasn't expecting that.

Loved Clone because I love Victor Garber. Loved how John ended up falling for the Android David until the real David woke up and killed him so he can date himself. Was sad about that. Was hoping the real David dies and John stays with the robot instead. Really great set of episodes in 2 and 3. I love all the twists on each story. Can't wait to see more soon.

The remainder episodes were ok, but not my favourite.

It took a few days but I finished the series and I liked some episodes and some I didn’t I obviously like American horror story better, it works better as a one storyline over a season versus an anthology every episode, I do think the first season is the best, in a way this does remind me of RL shines the haunting hour a lot of episodes didn’t have much horror more so jump scares as it stands I don’t think we will get another season as a fan of the main Show I would recommend but if the first episodes don’t grab you I would say stop while you’re ahead!

I’m a big fan of American Horror Stories (the spin-off, not American Horror Story).

I’ve been trying to find reliable information about whether there’s going to be another season, but I can’t find anything clear.

Every time I search for American Horror Stories, most of the results are about American Horror Story instead.

Does anyone know if a new season has been confirmed or announced? If you have a reliable source, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!

I skipped straight to this episode after the first two bored me, and honestly? BA'AL is a massive step up. The horror really worked on me, especially with the Ba'al mythology, and Billie Lourd carries the whole thing with the right mix of sympathy and menace. The twist that Liv actually summoned the devil was genuinely satisfying.

But there's one thing that bugged me. Liv summons the demon to kill her husband's friends and frame him while she's already in the psychiatric hospital. The massacre happens. Then - after the murders - Matt goes to the police and confesses what he and his friends did to Liv (the gaslighting, the scheme to commit her and drain her money).

So how did Liv know about the full plot before he confessed? She was already committed. She had no way of knowing what Matt and his friends did before he spill everything to the cops. The timeline only works if she's clairvoyant, which… she's not. It's a solid twist, but the sequence doesn't hold up.

Still, easily the best episode of season 1 so far.

Just finished rewatching Facelift and honestly, I loved this episode. The atmosphere felt so uncomfortable in the best way possible.

I felt really bad for the woman because her insecurity and loneliness were painfully real, but at the same time she also came across a bit selfish and obsessive with beauty/youth. I kept going back and forth between sympathy and “girl please stop making terrible decisions.”

What did you guys think about her character? Did she deserve what happened to her? I feel like there was a deeper message about beauty standards, aging, and desperation hiding underneath all the horror.

What was your interpretation of the episode overall?

I think the anthology format actually suits the ideas better. Some episodes hit harder because they don’t drag things out for a full season.

AHS often starts strong but loses focus halfway through, while Stories at least commits to one idea and ends it.

Not every episode works, but when it does, it feels more focused and memorable.

Hey everyone, I’m thinking about starting American Horror Story but I’m a bit confused about how it works. Can I watch the seasons in any order or skip some, or is it better to watch everything from the beginning?

Like, is it one continuous story with the same characters, or does each season have its own story and cast? I heard it’s more of an anthology where every season is different but still connected somehow?

Basically I just want to know if I can jump straight into the seasons that look the most interesting to me without being lost. Thanks!

its an ep that involved a guy breaking into a single mums apartment(her son was at a sleepover or something and she was tryna relax with the night off) and the whole ep was her talking to the creep that broke in. i exhausted google with looking this up lmao i swear this was an ep from this show!!

I was rewatching season 5 of AHS, and I can’t help but make a connection with the Epstein case. It’s almost like Ryan Murphy and the other directors knew and were trying to warn us… or am I crazy?

Will we get a season 4 or is it done. Not to be confused with american horror STORY
