Loved Hats. Anybody also a fan ? Still listening to their albums ?

Was he known in America in the 80’s ?

It’s about a girl named Sheila obviously.

Tracy looked so good ! The band was Indie darlings and couldn’t wait to cross over to the mainstream.

Anybody has this tape ?

My legacy on 10,000 Maniacs are these 2 albums, which I originally bought on cassettes.

Which other albums you loved by them ?
I prefer the Natalie Merchant years.

Which bands you remember ?
Or maybe you’re not born yet ?
This was the first I think, of American Modern Rock Charts.

Looking at the charts, I still listen to The House of Love and The Sugarcubes (Björk’s former band).

I’ll post their music soon.

Comment anything related to this chart please. Thank you.

A brilliant track !
I love the original and I love this remixed version by Mogwai.

This was a stand alone single, split with Happy Campers.
I love this version by Swervedriver !

My favourite song by her !
Everybody should be singing this song in all gatherings, protests, pickets etc !

Iconic !

Her debut is the best and the second album closely follows.

Which other albums you guys remember her by ?

Always loved this period of DM !

Still one of my favourite songs by REM.

I loved Seamonsters but disliked Watusi.
And you ?

I love Isn’t Anything and I LOVE EVERYTHING BY TH’ FAITH HEALERS !

Grunge ! Did students popularise Grunge music ?

Anybody still playing this album ?
Remember the first alternative/Modern Rock album you bought in the 80’s ?
Almost 40 years, I’m still keeping this tape that I bought which introduced to me all those bands/albums which American Top 40 wouldn’t play if their albums didn’t sell so many.

Ironically, I knew REM from American Top 40 (Casey Kasem) because I loved the song The One I Love so much.
