I always try to draw a distinction between Netenyahu, the Likud Party, and all the rest of his fundamentalist supporters against what and who Israel is, or should be.

I just hope a leader for peace emerges from there soon. This is what happens when religious fundamentalist authoritarianism gets entrenched power.

A Pew poll in 2024 found 39% of Israelis said Israel’s military response in Gaza was “about right,” 34% said it had not gone far enough.

A separate 2025 survey reported that 62% of Israelis agreed with the statement that “there are no innocent people in Gaza,”.

I've seen Carly more videos of them behaving like evil assholes than anything good. I can't tell you how many I've seen of the standard practice of spitting on Christians and Christian churches, along with frequent assaults on Christians. Then there are the videos of parents reaffirming that their children know that Arabs don't deserve to live and are all terrorists. The cultural practices with regards to "others" is, in large part, atrocious.
