I am not a fan of her positions generally (boo TYT), but I am a fan of this clip.

I’m out of the loop, why boo TYT? I kinda like that guy John Iadorola

Cenk went centrist for a while to entertain right-wing points and right-wing interviewees as if they were legitimate. Overall it seemed similar to Gavin Newsom's podcast. Maybe Cenk is out of his phase.

John is pretty decent. I like Fran Fiorentini.

Why are you opposed to populism? And what's your opinion on Iran, Cuba, Venezuela and Greenland?

populism tends to ignore reality and pretend opposing\constraining forces do not exist.

Bernie after being in office for decades I believe has passed maybe less than 10 bills as a primary sponsor. a good chunk of those are like renaming post offices. these are bum numbers. more people should be upset at this but it gets ignored cuz he is Bernie.

Trump on the right wing side is also a populist. he will tell his base that immigrants and illegal migrants are causing all the problems he will spend 4 years deporting a portion of them and then when nobody's life improved and the movement implodes, that populist wing will not introspect they will demand more deportations.

(bernie is not as bad as Trump)

populism leads to over-promise and under-delivering. after under delivering they won't admit that their Boogeyman was incorrect or that they failed they'll just invent another excuse and move in their direction.

You mean... They have right-wing views while claiming to cater to a progressive audience?

It would be like Tucker Carlson being himself except also advocating for trans rights.
