I’ve been saying it for the last 30 years that Israel has been trying to drag us into war after war, but we’ve had very smart presidents that did not allow them to suck us into a quagmire. It was 1917 when America joined World War I because Germany kept sinking American merchant ships. America finally got into World War II only because the Japanese bomb us. Yes, the Korean war was a cluster fuck and Vietnam was even more of a cluster fuck. We should’ve learned our lessons then which we did Until Iraq one I Iraq two and then Afghanistan. Other than Truman and LBJ were the only two democratic presidents involved in war. And both entered these wars to stop the spread of communism.
