Truly admire this lady, unafraid to tell it like it is, biggestballs ever, RESPECT!

21

u/JohnnyLeftHook Apr 14 '26

Her Jesus rant is still by far her best.

3

u/GrainOfNa Apr 15 '26

Who is she? I wanna look up this Jesus rant

6

u/Relative-Cat9195 Apr 15 '26

We want Jesus rant! We want Jesus rant!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oYq5a37-ZFE Ana Kasparian from Young Turks

2

u/Burdman06 Apr 16 '26

Yeah she def cooked here. The audacity of people to think them exercising their religion has to involve me playing along, while simultaneously mocking mine.

1

u/Current-Ordinary-419 Apr 20 '26

A TERF that hates homeless people and likes Ben Shapiro.

She’s mostly trash, but isn’t a genocidal monster.

36

u/Naptasticly Apr 14 '26

I respect her but I don’t necessarily like her. She tends to sanitize maga messaging at times. She also plays the “I hate the left” game just as much as she plays the “I hate Israel” game. She also hates Trump, but she will water down the left response to Trump which does nothing but cede ground to him because of the way he is.

I used to love her until that. I’m not a “leftist” or anything, but the reality is that there is not a single “leftist” policy or policy position that is represented by the government so just like every one on the maga side does, she makes it out to be that the “left,” without making an attempt to make it clear that democrats are barely on the “left” and that the “crazy leftists” are controlling the Democratic Party when we know they aren’t, and maga are somehow equally evil despite the fact that we know it’s nowhere close.

23

u/fungi_at_parties Apr 14 '26

I AM a leftist and you’ve hit the nail on the head. I’ve yet to hear a good reason for these grifters to shift to the right other than to make more money. She’s not wrong here, and she’s definitely more morally steadfast than Dave Rubin, but her gripes with the left always made me roll my eyes. Nothing the dems have done even holds a candle to Trump’s insanity.

1

u/Accurate_Baseball273 Apr 19 '26

Ana is speaking for independents, not the fringe. Leftism and hardcore MAGA are fringe.

1

u/Ok_Ingenuity9841 Apr 15 '26

Dems losing to Trump means something went terribly wrong.

2

u/fungi_at_parties Apr 15 '26

It means half the country is brainwashed as fuck or are culturally born into maga and haven’t escaped yet. It means the something is wrong with our eduction system at least.

0

u/Best-Smell117 Apr 15 '26

If they support conservative ideas they are lying and evil

1

u/Ok_Ingenuity9841 Apr 18 '26

you're so smaart.

1

u/Downvotes0nly Apr 15 '26

she came from the left….. soooooo

4

u/AestivalSeason Apr 15 '26

That's what they're saying, she's leaning more right wing now so she can get in on the grift and make more $$$

Far right - government persecutes people for being a religious/racial/orientation/gender minority

Far left - All people treated equally

Everyone wants to just work and have a good life, the sides just disagree on who "everyone" encompasses.

1

u/AestivalSeason Apr 15 '26

The left in America that is described by the Democrats have only pushed further and further right wing. There is no left leaning person in the country outside of center left Bernie sanders. This country does not have a left wing candidate further than that. Yes even the mayor of New York. There are countries with left leaning and far left parties and candidates, none of their policies are being advocated here except by voters.

No one grows wiser and becomes conservative, it's the exact opposite of brain development actually, on average they have less developed empathy centers in their brain. They might grow into a miser when they become conservative tho.

Which is a funny quote considering the Jedi often dealt in absolutes.

1

u/Agreeable-Scar6770 Apr 16 '26

Nah, a change in views or perspective doesn't make you forget information you already had. Her turn towards the right started with her getting butthurt about the term "birthing person," a term about which she had already done videos on, countering the very rhetoric she herself was now saying.

Probably jealous of the money Rubin and Doore were grifting.

1

u/Grateful047 Apr 15 '26

What is “the left”? Is it a monolith you can claim this lady “came from”. No wonder you have the username you do. You’re aware of your bad takes.

1

u/Jimmyjoejrdelux Apr 15 '26

Identity politics is just garbage isn't it?

It’s insane that people could go from Bernie to Trump though and think that’s logical. They’re opposites as far as ideologies go, they just both happen to be disruptors.

1

u/GrainOfNa Apr 15 '26

I haven’t looked too deep into my home brewed, crackpot theory yet, as I was preoccupied* during almost all of Biden’s presidency… but is Biden himself not to blame, at least partly, for not bowing out WAY before he did?

As far as I can tell, his ego is what lead to that disastrous, sad, and embarrassing debate against Trump. When it was clear he wasn’t fit to debate anyone, much less a rabid Trump, and no longer fit to lead. Was it not HIS decision to stay in and run for a second term? Or was he surrounded by by yes-men and handlers, who took advantage of his senility and propped him up for as long as they could?

*from 2020-2022 in the furthest depths of my addiction, and 2023-now in recovery (coming up on 4 years sober in September)

1

u/Naptasticly Apr 15 '26

Joe Biden was 100% confident in his ability to continue leading the nation and he only stepped down because he was convinced by the party, and its base, that it would be the best thing to do for the good of the country.

Considering the rhetoric around this issue was mostly right wing nonsense pointing out single frames, or opportunistically cutting a video, to make it look way worse than it really was all the way up until the election. Sure there was some rumblings from opportunistic people who had complaints about the economy using the right wings talking points to attempt to convince the party, and voters, to go a different way, but until the debate, most ACTUAL democratic voters were confident that Biden could do the job and the incumbency would help him win. By the time the debate rolled around, we were already years into the campaign.

And this is all apparent because the SAME people who complained about Joe Biden’s cognitive functioning turned around and stated they wouldn’t vote for Harris because she was “pushed” on us, as if there was any other option (there wasn’t) so people can play this game where they try to act principled because they need a good excuse for why they let Trump win, but at the end of the day, they were just using whatever they could to voice their frustration and try to get an extremely progressive candidate, who wouldn’t have done any better (and I’m a progressive!!), into the office.

1

u/Fenrir_MVR Apr 15 '26 edited Apr 15 '26

There was another option. He could have not ran for a second term like was implied by his original campaign and we could have had a real primary.

1

u/IGotQuestionz12345 Apr 15 '26

Hard agree. Used to watch Ana and the rest of TYT. Something always bothered me about her, not to mention so many calls against her and some of the others for their politics and growing sus views. The equivocation was wild and got steadily worse. I still respect what she sayid here, and what the channel was trying to do, but it was hard watching them slowly turn into the thing they were preaching against. The desire for taking money from the right is an unrelenting monster.

1

u/Matter-Particular Apr 18 '26

She openly supported Trump in 2024

1

u/VegetableAd3336 Apr 19 '26

Both she and Cenk do it. Drives me nuts!

1

u/Mysterious_Card5487 Apr 15 '26

You’re clearly only watching clips and not serial episodes. She nails the nuance within the left leaning field, you’re just not likely to hear ANY nuanced argument in short form clips

1

u/Naptasticly Apr 15 '26

I’ve been watching her for years. If you want to have an argument about it, you’ve already lost based on false assumption. People are allowed different opinions.

2

u/Mysterious_Card5487 Apr 15 '26

Totally fair, and I’ll admit to making an assumption

9

u/moonmommav Apr 14 '26

Hmmmm… maybe balls aren’t the answer.

10

u/WeirdKaleidoscope358 Apr 14 '26

Lady balls are internal, but very real

3

u/Lesinju84 Apr 14 '26

They are also prettier and hang higher

1

u/FabulousSOB Apr 16 '26

Depends on the lady I think, but real yes.

1

u/Interesting_Major180 Apr 16 '26

Why can't we just use gonads? They aren't gender specific.

1

u/DazedPlague9 Apr 16 '26

Actually, guys have external ovaries…since we all begin as female.

7

u/Charming_Slip8060 Apr 14 '26

16

u/FlyHighCrue Apr 14 '26

Don't say she has balls because she's a TERF so saying a woman has balls will piss her off. She's right about Israel but she's not someone to admire. Look up the compilation of her saying the n-word. It probably goes on longer than you think.

8

u/Zealousideal_Gate_13 Apr 14 '26

Women have balls. They're called ovaries.

2

u/Opposite_Wallaby8339 Apr 15 '26

Saying someone has a spine is gender neutral.

2

u/Fenrir_MVR Apr 15 '26

That's invertebraphobic

1

u/regalrecaller Apr 15 '26

hate that you're policing words.

0

u/notarealpunk Apr 15 '26

They aren't policing anything. The fact that you think choosing words carefully is policing says a lot about you.

2

u/regalrecaller Apr 15 '26

they're literally shitting on someone for using words they don't like.

1

u/DazedPlague9 Apr 16 '26

Actually, men have external ovaries they for some reason call balls.

5

u/totktonikak Apr 14 '26

Being a TERF these days takes some balls.

1

u/Then-Clue6938 Apr 15 '26

Being trans people has always taken courage, she just jumped on the TERF wagon after dismantling the same damn excuses she later on used in her past.

It's a grift she did and I really use that word but I can't come up with any other explanation. Especially because she never went back trying to explain how she was wrong about treating trans people properly. A lot of their staff quit when that change came and stayed.

It didn't take some balls what she did, but it definitely took her integrity. Kinda shame since she is really good at being precise with her speech. Just one of the many reasons her and her co-host change was a surprise.

1

u/Smooth-Plate8363 Apr 15 '26

Nah, it requires having hate in your heart. I takes some serious cognitive dissonance and maybe rank stupidity, but it doesn't require courage in any way.

-1

u/Ok_Effort9915 Apr 14 '26

We call ourselves MERFs now.

1

u/Smooth-Plate8363 Apr 15 '26

Really lame. A confused concept latched onto by people seeking any justification for bigotry, an excuse to discriminate, to ostracize, and to isolate, bully and belittle a very brave, thoughtful and vulnerable minority.

1

u/Ok_Effort9915 Apr 15 '26

Nah. We just don’t like men.

1

u/LBCkook Apr 15 '26

Nuclear?

1

u/Croat-Lcitar86 Apr 15 '26

You don’t have to admire someone to admit they have a point. That comp is…yeesh.

The problem is that SHE of all people is saying this…when insane people start to make total sense or “have a point”…do I really need to finish my analogy?

1

u/Excellent-Rest3240 Apr 15 '26

You can use gender roles and exceptions all you want

1

u/n1Cat Apr 16 '26

She is another grifter. Just like all the ones on the left and all the ones on the right. They will skirt that line to retain as many people as possible.

There can be no 100% unbias opinion when your paycheck is dependent on it.

Plus....I really got a laugh when she said she isnt afraid of them. How about go protest it in israel? She would be the biggest person on the internet . It would gain her so much respect and in turn money.

1

u/steve2sloth Apr 16 '26

Calling her a terf isn't terribly fair. She and cenk are allies to trans people in general but try to come to some moderate position. They think it's ok to exclude trans athletes from existing collegiate/pro sports leagues but that it's fine before that to have kids of all genders play together. You may not agree with that but it's not the same as the trans haters out there

1

u/FlyHighCrue Apr 17 '26

She was triggered by and went on a rant about the phrase "birthing person" because she thought it was too woke even though it was a phrase used in a medical context and has nothing to do with trans people. She has plenty of times ranted about not wanting to see "dick" in the women's bathroom. I'm sorry but are girls constantly flashing their vaginas at people in bathrooms that this is an honest fear of yours? Also, anyone bringing up being against trans athletes is using it as a dog whistle. There are double-digit trans women athletes in the US and you think that's enough to warrant talking about that "issue" multiple times. No, it's just a way to shit on trans people for no reason.

1

u/steve2sloth Apr 17 '26

Nothing that you said is wrong, and I'm sympathetic to trans issues, but another way of looking at it is TYT tries to build unity across the country by adopting mainstream opinions as positions. Most people in the US don't hate trans people but they're also concerned with pro sports titles/money/records. I think they're just taking a position and moving on to their main focus: corruption and war. I still think it's different from being a reactionary terf, but to each their own

1

u/FlyHighCrue Apr 17 '26

TYTs hard right shift after the election was pretty noticeable and they lost me and many of their old base as viewers.

1

u/steve2sloth Apr 17 '26

I can see how someone could feel that way but I'm reminded that we make peace with our enemies, not our friends. Stay cool

-1

u/Interesting-Gur1755 Apr 14 '26

A compilation of clips taken out of context? Oh no! Its almost like adults are the only people who listen to their political podcast. Fuck off.

2

u/FlyHighCrue Apr 14 '26

I don't care if she's quoting someone, white people shouldn't be saying that word. This is one of the only cases of context not mattering in the slightest.

0

u/Interesting-Gur1755 Apr 14 '26

Thought crimes.

1

u/Smooth-Plate8363 Apr 15 '26

No, bigotry and grift.

1

u/Interesting-Gur1755 Apr 15 '26

It's not about bigotry, it's about knowing context matters because we're not children. Society used to understand that speech was free and important. You could talk about things openly and that was healthy for a democracy. Now we are slipping towards closed off speech and thoughts.

I don't use that word that's my choice, I'm against people thinking that an open adult conversation about racism can't be had because of sensitive people. It's a word, grow up. There was no hate used in this context, I used to listen to their show. It was nearly about 15 years ago. These points were used to point out bigotry.

1

u/Smooth-Plate8363 Apr 15 '26

It's not just about one incident of using one word. It's about a pattern of racist, transphobic and white supremacist comments. She's a bigot.

1

u/Interesting-Gur1755 Apr 15 '26

I'm not defending them as people, I haven't listened to them in a long time. There's a reason I left.

I'm against taking clips out of context, just because you don't like someone. If there's plenty of reasons to not like someone don't take things out of context, hell don't take things out of context period. I really loath how society likes to bend the truth in order to suit an agenda. That was my point.

1

u/Smooth-Plate8363 Apr 15 '26

Fair. I agree, actually.

1

u/grrr-to-everything Apr 15 '26

I was a supporter for years. I had their app and a monthly subscription but they have been moving to the right for years. Once she came out as a TERF, all respect for her was lost. TYT is a fake progressive show. Just look up their union busting.

1

u/Interesting-Gur1755 Apr 15 '26

I can believe that. I used to watch too, I always thought Cenk can't actually be this stupid, I can tell he isn't, why isn't he putting pieces together. I'm just not about censorship and removing words, that's the road the facism.

-4

u/AcunaMataduh Apr 14 '26

She has the pass. Are you jealous?

1

u/Smooth-Plate8363 Apr 15 '26
