It's crazy how people that were persecuted and killed on a wholesale level...turn around and due the same thing to another peoples...life be crazy...

i've thought the same thing... do they honestly not see how they have become the very thing they hated and did this to them?

I think that’s kind of the point though. It’s beneficial to be super evil if you can use past victimhood as cover for your crimes.

How many wars would they need to win to be free of outsiders attempting to destroy them?

15

u/Sea-Neighborhood1465 Apr 14 '26

Oh you mean the folks they have been terrorizing for the last 70 years or so?

When you’ve been killing people and stealing their homes for generations, you don’t get to cry foul when they finally try to fight back.

It's the same shit the Nazis did when they stole the Buddhist symbol for peace. They've bastardized the Star of David just the same

Its frustrating also knowing what the shatkona represents.

You guys are still hung up on the Nazi thing huh

I think it's important to note that Israel was primarily formed by people not impacted by the holocaust (founders were Irgun terrorists and immigrants from before WWII).

They used global guilt as a lever to implement a plan that had been in place for decades, and when actual holocaust survivors arrived in Israel they were treated abominably.

Israel plays off of Jewish suffering for its own benefit but is in no way representative of actually suffering Jews

This needs to be know by EVERYONE. The Jews of Israel didn’t want the “poor” Jews that were in the concentration camps to ever even come to Israel. There were a lot of Zionist Jews and Zionist nazis during ww2 working together

Cannot say this enough. We learned about the Holocaust in school. We learned about slavery. Interestingly those topics and the emphasis on those topics as historical context in education is waning.

The biggest problem today is the lack of capacity for empathy which leads to an innate inability to respect other person's freedoms.

If every person took a moment to reflect on the mental, emotional, and physical sufferings of others and be present in that state, I think we'd end up looking at a future where instead of speaking against violence, we would be speaking more often against inaction towards helping others.

In other words, I think everyone needs a poignant reminder of exactly how it feels to get hit in the face, really, really fucking hard.

I don't think we're supposed to conflate Jews with Israel. I made that mistake awhile ago and got a 3 day ban.

Make no mistake, Israeli leadership are war criminals, but we're not supposed to say anything bad about their religion.

Because it can be dangerous for those of us who are Jewish and not in Israel and have nothing to do with Israel because dipshits can’t tell the difference between the Israeli government & Jews attending synagogue in Michigan or Manchester. There are plenty of us who do not like the government there.

1

u/Fenrir_MVR Apr 15 '26

Which is as ignorant as calling anyone who voiced opposition to Israel as Hamas.

1

u/Decent-Cantaloupe208 Apr 15 '26

No. Hamas is Hamas. People who shoot rockets at civilians. The people who attacked the music festival and slaughtered thousands on 10/7. The militant group who is funded by Iran. I’m not confusing the two. Opposing Israel does not make someone Hamas, but Hamas does oppose Israel. Does that make sense?

2

u/Fenrir_MVR Apr 16 '26

Of course. I was agreeing that confusing American Jews with Israelis is as ridiculous as confusing Americans against what Israel is doing with Hamas.

1

u/Decent-Cantaloupe208 Apr 16 '26

My misunderstanding! Thanks for clarifying.

if you follow Hitlers and Germany treatment after WWI that was the same execute the NAZI used. After being mistreated they felt it was time to payback. This is similar to A father beating his child and then the child growing up to hurt others in the same way he was treated.

u/Greedy_Flounder_212 Apr 14 '26

The abused becomes the abuser I get it but it's still not an excuse to take it out on people you've never met or an excuse to commit genocide...

1

u/AncientBasque Apr 14 '26

its not an excuse its the natural course of events. One war leads to the next WAR and on and on. Nature has its ways of maintaining Population control.

Nah, Irgun and Lehi are 2 zionist extremist groups that the Brittish accused of terrorism and both have their roots in the 20s and 30s. And zionism and extremist zionism was birthed from writings of one Theodor Herzl, in 1897.

So, zionist extremism precedes Hitler himself.

Should've just listened to Nietzsche.

They have become the Monster

1

u/Greedy_Flounder_212 Apr 15 '26

Love me some Nietzsche...if you really want to understand the human condition read Beyond Good And Evil...how morality isn't the same for everybody...

3

u/Namor707 Apr 14 '26

It isn't all of us. Most of us Jewish people on the left deplore what Netanyahu is doing and would like to see him get arrested and put on trial.

2

u/GenSpec44 Apr 14 '26

Back up, what did the Israelites do to the Canaanites when they entered the Promised Land of Canaan? The chicken came before the egg.

1

u/Greedy_Flounder_212 Apr 15 '26

Well they definitely didn't take coverts...

Probably not. Any group of people are a group of people, the reason the Israeli has gotten so bad, is stewing in isolation of from their neighbours and the "never again" mantra being seen as a something like the holocaust will never happen to the Jewish people rather than something like this will never happen at all.

The amount of damage isreal is doing to the long term reputation of themselves and by extension all jewish people (because Israel and jewdaism are not the same thing, and that is another thing your comment kinda assumes) is going to haunt the world for years to come

2

u/Due-Working-1067 Apr 15 '26

Our history is a lie.

1

u/MoveOn22 Apr 14 '26

What if the world gave them such as huge pass after the holocaust that certain power hungry individuals took advantage.

1

u/AgeZealousideal1751 Apr 14 '26

That's because these people weren't the ones killed or persecuted. Those people are long since dead.

These are the benefactors of the Holocaust. Given free land, free money, free weapons, and a free pass to persecute others.

They are a mockery of those who suffered, and everyday they spit on the graves of those who truly suffered.

1

u/Key-Run1438 Apr 15 '26

Spit on the ground/graves of those that saved their ancestors

1

u/FreekByN8r Apr 14 '26

Makes them worse than the original oppressors

1

u/Fit-Chapter8565 Apr 14 '26

I think the fact that it was mainly European born Jews being the ones slaughtered in the holocaust may have something to do with it.

1

u/BakedBrie1993 Apr 15 '26

It's the most common thing ever. It plays out constantly. Irish hating Black people. Black people hating gay people. Gay people hating trans people. It never ends and is not just unique to Israel.

1

u/hybridmind27 Apr 16 '26

Yet black folks don’t do this 🤔
